Another great day...
I had just woken up. As usual, I pulled out a book from a bookshelve and began reading. Just then, the phone rings. I picked it up. It was Zheng Young, informing me that he was already at yishun. Hurriedly, I gulped my breakfast down and rushed immediately to the bus-stop to meet with him. It was only a while later that I found him and brought him back to my house. He was wearing a thick jacket over a shirt, while I was tucked with a thin cotton shirt and shorts. OMG! The sun was scorching hot! So naturally, he began sweating......haix....when will people learn that the nrth regions of Singapore I frequently HOT! We finished the IPW project in 1.5 hrs....good timing....we played monopoly after that (It was a tie but zy claimed that he won, so i relented). It was only ming zhen's wake-up call did I realise that I had to reach school at 12.30! It was already 11.45! Why is my life such a series of climax? Naturally, I rushed through my shower, lunch and Zheng Young to leave. In the end, I was still late, reaching school at 12.50.
Thank goodness they only started at 1pm. It was a welcoming party and farewell party ; the sec4 were leaving, the sec1 were joining. We were assesed by Mr Leong (one of the instructors). I was pushed off to tenor, ming zhen and siew mun taking their place at the soprano. It was then did I experience one of the most painful yet common practice in choir ; standing. Iit wasn't like NCC or the sports CCA, where you would be able to move your body. The only thing we could move was the control of air and our voices. This was just the appetizer (2hours) ; the main meal of standing up for 5 hours have yet to come. One of the great things today was that it was raining CHOCOLATES! All thanks to Samuel. They are really different. One is a hot-tempered, annoying freak, the other is a kind, gentle Samaritan. Two poles apart. I was thankful. Good ridance to that more awful vision of Samuel of mine. We played tag later. It was fun. We thrashed the Sec 2s and were promoted to the finals ; the showdown with the sec 4s. It was a sure-lose game. But nevertheless, great job everyone! The joy all ended there, with the tears at the farewell speech.
Thanks to Jesslynn and Siew Mun for helping me do the small little favours that I myself am unable to accomplish. Like handing up the complete IPW project on friday. Thanks jesslynn for that. Thanks to Siew Mun for helping lending me $2 for the pizza break that we had. And also for the paper that you handed up for me. Last but not least, my gratitude extends to Ming Zhen too, for reminding me of the important choir schedules and also for asking to be my HE partner! Thanks you all!

Nobody's Home - Avril Lavigne
She felt it everyday.
And I couldn't help her
,I just watched her make the same mistakes again
.What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems
.Don't know where she belongs,
where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
Open your eyes and look outside,
find the reasons why.
You've been rejected,
and now you can't find what you left behind.
Be strong, be strong now.
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs,
where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
Her feelings she hides.
Her dreams she can't find.
She's losing her mind.
She's fallen behind.She can't find her place.
She's losing her faith.
She's fallen from grace.
She's all over the place.Yeah,oh
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh yeah
She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh yeah
Happy 50th Birthday to.....
Lets talk about yesterday. We had science remedial. It was just checking answers! Why can't the teachers post it in e-portal? Mrs Dan claims that she wants to teach us as well.......the only thing I learnt is copying faster. We had arranged to go CWP for lunch and movie. But plans were altered. Alicia couldn't get out of the house. Me, shi hui, winnie and joyce had to kiss all our plans goodbye. *sobs* As you might have guessed (unless you're dumb) we headed to alicia house for fun! She was lonely ; we are not appeased. Had another wonderful time......went home and played monopoly with my sisters for the rest of the night......watched Mars Vs Venus (last episode) as well!

The exam results are out!
Have you ever encountered and experience where a teacher calls you and inform you that you were nominated for a competition while you were on your way to school? I had. And it was this fateful day. I was selected for this storytelling competition where the training will take place at admiralty primary school. It was rather shocking........talking to a friend when suddenly your handphone vibrates and it was your teacher talking at the other end of the line. That means I don't have to go for choir today......the workshop is held for these three consecutive days. My life's just starting to resemble that of a drama serial. You probably asked.......where us my standard now? It's easy to answer. Just take a look at the table below
English.....52.....C6 (I'm so hating my markers!) Higher Chinese.....66.....B3 (I'm good....) Mathematics.....66.....B3 (I'm sick on that day so you can't blame me!) Science.....77......A1 (The promised one!) History.....34/35.......A1 (80%) (Teacher didn't disclose the overall marks......but I'm still topping the class with this) Geography......77......A1 (The result of projected marks) Literature......84.......A1 (I'm still topping the class)
I'm not sure about D&T and Art. Don't ask me. Teacher didn't breathe a word about it. There you have it, my SA1.......some of them like english are really crappy but I do love History and Literature! They give me a chance to rule the whole of Sec 1!!! There are also improvements and my favourite is science, from C6 to A1!!! You never get that sort of crap from anywhere else! I also helped shi hui and alicia collect their papers. I'm sure shi hui was gloating whenever she beat ryan and alicia did improve, even if it was a little. But I'm glad that all of them are finally over. Now for a cup of cappucino.......

Hot Spring!
. It was spartan. There was a red-bricked 'fort' in the centre and at selected sites, where taps spilling hot spring water into tanks (huge cans). I supposed that cans were scraped by some helpful people from industrial parks. There was also a caretaker there. Actually, he was a voluntary worker and had painstakingly been the one to retrieve those tanks for us. He was also the one who helped fill those empty tanks and adjusted the water at soothing temperatures. The nobleness of the human spirit. But alas it was the people's constant praises that probably caused him to brag about it. He had helped us to fill our tanks. Us being the new and unexperienced found the water too hot for our liking, but soon after were diping our feet and hands into the hot spring water. It really was soothing. After an hour, we felt that we had enough rest and now rode back all the way to admiralty MRT station for some ice-cream! I tried the flavour burst while my father just licked his hot fudge sundae. A nice treat on a hot sunny day. We went to the neighbourhood park later. I met my sisters and cousins there! We all had a great time until my father summoned me to bring my sister's bike to get it pumped. He also handed me a ten-dollar bill and tell me to go to the NEAREST bicycle shop to pump my sis bike! That shop was like 5km away and I had to push her stupid bike all the way there and all the back. That was so infuriating! When I came back I was already fuming mad! The bike wasn't fixed properly and I was forced to bring it there and back for no good reason! Thank goodness my dad didn't scold me or I would have probably yelled back at him. Not much happened later. Goodbye!

Lyrics for Innocence
The first time in my life and now it's so great
Slowing down I look around and I am so amazed
I think about the little things that make life great
I wouldn't change a thing about it
This is the best feeling
This innocence is brilliant,
I hope that it will stay
This moment is perfect,
please don't go away,
I need you now
And I'll hold on to it,
don't you let it pass you by
I found a place so safe,
not a single tear
The first time in my life and now it's so clear
Feel calm I belong,
I'm so happy here
It's so strong and now I let myself be sincere
I wouldn't change a thing about it
This is the best feeling
This innocence is brilliant,
I hope that it will stay
This moment is perfect, please don't go away,
I need you now
And I'll hold on to it,
don't you let it pass you by
It's the state of bliss you think you're dreaming
It's the happiness inside that you're feeling
It's so beautiful it makes you wanna cry
It's the state of bliss you think you're dreaming
It's the happiness inside that you're feeling
It's so beautiful it makes you wanna cry
It's so beautiful it makes you want to cry
This innocence is brilliant, it makes you want to cry
This innocence is brilliance, please don't go away
Cause I need you now
And I'll hold on to it,
don't you let it pass you by
This innocence is brilliant,
I hope that it will stay
This moment is perfect,
please don't go away,
I need you now
And I'll hold on to it,
don't you let it pass you by

Just Heavenly.
I went to school today. With my heavy bag and rather irritating runny nose. Haix........won't it be heaven if the school decided to give another break. Good things never last. All of us had to brave 45 mins of sheer Singapore heat in the parade square while listening to the DM blab about us. Boring and annoying. We had our post-exams activities later. Not fun. Listen to people blab again. By the time recess came, everone flooded the doors. We had another session. This time it was not about leadership but Internet PORNOGRAPHY! I can't believe why people want to learn prevention on all these. They are eqivalent to throwing your money down the rubbish chute! After school, I rushed my science file and was rushing to class 2/8 to get get my lit results when Mrs Dan stopped me. She gave me a pleasent glint and complimented me for my great improvement in Science. Also got chance to get A1!!! Siao! C6 jump to A1! Nvm......when I went up to 2/8 classroom, there were already clusters of people holding on to a sheet of paper. Curiosly, I joined my group and took a peep at the results.....I got 40/50!!! This is getting all confused. That is also highest in class! I'm so loving myself! Life just seems brighter all of a sudden. Even if sarah were to pick up another fight, I think I would just run away. Later stayed in the classroom and chatted with janelle, daryn, jaslyn and aleithia. We just chat on all the school-events! It was just perfect. I went home with daryn later. We talked. and a lot. All about our life. Each has their own fair share in contributing to a perfectly wonderful conversation. That was what it was in my eyes anyway. A perfect ending to a wonderfully pleasent day.

One bona fide day!
We went shopping later! It was already arranged. Only a few people knew about this arrangement. We were hungry the moment we stepped in causeway point. Naturally, went to pizza hut for lunch! It was rather snazzy, since there were hardly any people in there and we would be served! Both of us ordered the student meals at $5.95 (excluding taxes) and we each got a cup of pepsi, a bowl of warm creamy mushroom soup and a main meal. She chose Hawaiin Pizza, I opted for Meatball Spagetti. Mine (as unexpected as it seems) was yucky while hers was really good at wheting appetites! I'm so regretting my choice now! We went shopping after that. First I dragged her to the Singtel Shop at basemet 1, and later, she got her turn to lead me to 77th Street. I was a handphone fanatic. She was a pai kia clothes conossieur. It suited us well, since we really has much spare time in our hands and it was fun exploring in someone else's shoes. In the end, I bought a really nice shirt at the Metro Sale and she bought an equally nice one at Tom & Stefanie (civic centre). After our shopping escapade, we went to my house for a game of monopoly. I won (duh...) and we had a great time. She commented my house was big (like what thousands of other people said before) and left with a nice smile on her face. She was happy.
The rest of the day was really boring and I later spent the whole night gluing my eyes to the television. Well, the aircon repairmen are coming to our house again at 3 to have a look at my sis's aircon. It also really is inconvenent. I had planned to visit alicia later on. And it clashed.

A miserable day....
Had a rather awful day today. My mum was in a bad mood (Ithink she lost in her mahjong session) and we were her exhaust bin! I suffered. heavily. Went to Causeway point at 10 to get free brownies ^_^! from metro since they were celebrating their 50th aniversary. Had lunch at Pizzza Hut. Caution! Do not try the Ocean Catch! You might just puke! Later on, Shi Hui invited me to meet her and alicia and the library.......but my mum was still in her bad mood and I got another bout of scolding......haix......so I can't join them and had to go home to study for history. I studied. A bit. About there. Played monopoly with my aunt and sisters and I won again. Naturally. I'm so good! Yeah...that's all for the day.....bye!

Good ridance to the Chinese History Exam....and Xu Liang!
We lost terribly. 3-8. What kinda score is that? Yeah.......we were thrashed by shi hui, wei xin, addelynn, audrey and keneth.........well not exactly kenneth.....I still can't believe it....something must have gone terribly wrong....why can't me, alicia, alethia, wing yiu and not exactly yong yan defeat them.......I know that shi hui was gloating when the bell rang. Lucky for her she did not do it the whole day. We had the english show & tell your book session....I think it is 20% of our english marks....I still think I'm no match for wen jie and daryn......they did quite well and I'm still not caring.......I just want my A1 in english....that's all I ask for......as for HMT....we did 'final' revision on Chinese History and I got another lolipop for answering another question correct! Now I have 3 lolipops yeah......still melting on the table. IPW is really sucky.......I wanted to do my final revision there, in the library, but Mrs Chong just kept patrolling the place like a prison warden.......and we just had to act along....like those really obedient inmates.
Directly after school, we rushed to the hall to have our exam.....and after I came out of the hall.......I was sure that it would take a miracle for me to pass....not that its difficult....but that the comprehension MCQ is hard....and I flunked it....so I'm still having queries if I'm going to fail......
After that, we had our final drama rehersel.....I was the narrator of the play......and naturally ended up with a sore throat by 4. I went home with shi hui, benjamin, zhi hao and unfortuantely Xu Liang!!!! Doen't he know that not everyone appreciates his handphone's Canon in D? Come to think of it, he got it because of me! While walking home, shi hui, ben, zhi hao and me decided to walk off w/o xu liang.....we initially had no plans....until half way there when I had enough. I just told xu liang that I saw his pencil box dropped just now......and zhi hao continued with the lie....saying that he also saw a pencil box on the floor. Convinced by our wonderful acting, gullible and irritable xu liang left us for a while before discovering the horrid truth that we had tricked him! Haha! That was elation.
I gtg now.....still have my oracy unedited......and my maths ws halfway done!

One free peroid!
There was no Science lesson today! Not that i hate science but its a really fortunate thing since I'm still needing time to catch up on Science........CE was fun....although I didn't learn anything since there was a kind assistant called Ms Tammy that helped me! Thanks! After recess, was HMT........we got back our spelling book and letter writing book......I did terribly for both......14/20 and 11.5/20 respectively.........what's more is that my letter writing results will comprise 10% of our SA1.....someone get me a basin cos I'm going to be sick! We revised more on Chinese History today.......since the exam is tomorrow and its going to make up 25%!!! I got another lolipop from teacher for getting a question correct again! much to the dismay of a very-enthu Shi Hui who raised her hand up for every single question. English was spent covering up on Chinese History......ironic right........we had EFL later and it was about safety......whoever likes to listen to disciplinary masters blab about safety........then after that, the teachers sprang a haircheck session. Thank Goodness I wasn't caught! But Ryan, Wei Le, Shi Hui and lot more others did.........what was really surprising that Alicia wasn't caught! Her hair was practically a MOP (no offence....but I like the style), her badge and nametag wasn't pinned on and her belt was so LOW! It's hereby legal to say now that teachers are blind!
