Many many things...

Zheng Young looking around suspiciously...
Trolleys serve as convenient outlet for our aching shoulders to rest!
Winnie on the swing!
The basins after the revamp!
The clean uriners that we actually cleaned ourselves!

There wasn't any particularly shocking things that happened yeasterday....but still there was one, it was also the one that caused Mrs Dan to lose her faith and trust with us. Someone had broken the motar bowl (used for pouding) and did not admit it despite Mrs Dan saying that she won't press charges against the person. Haix....who is actually that dishonest? After school, I accompanied zheng young, lionel and zhan rong to AMK Hub to buy the happy toilet decorations. We bought air fresheners (the touilet stinks!!!) and plants to enchance the visual and olfactory senses. haha! so chim! After having lunch at home, went to alicia's house to play and help them (alicia, shi hui, wen jie, winnie) with their history project since we are doing on the same chapter. Went to a playground halfway enroute the home route. So much fun! Especially the swings and the feeling of sand in your toes! I feel like 8 again!

Today was half day! School ended at 10.10am! All thanks to speech day! Brought the wrong stuff to school today, but luckily teacher never ask for them! Phew....went to Mcdonald's with the lot (ryan, wei le, janelle, jesslynn....) and EAT. So hungry! Finish eating go shopping! Finally finished the toilet, with more help from lionel and lesser with daryn and zheng young. Finally finish the stupid toilet campagne once and for all! As like yestaerday, went home to eat lunch before going to alicia's house there to help and play!!!

Er...can anyone give me an appropriate title for this post?

Winnie's half eaten chicken burger...
Alicia's half-drunk coke...
and my untouched soup!

ok....I'm speechless......there's nothing to blog about today.....not counting the after-school trip with winnie and alicia. I manage to bear through Ms Tan's comprehension notes, Mr Leong's endless talk on ratio and giving us logic-less maths questions which wasted half of our time. Ms Hu the new english teacher that would be taking charge of our english classes until Mrs Yeo cime back. I was playing in her class right in frint of her, with wingyiu, playing tic-tac-toe and chopsticks! She didn't say a thing although the comments she made when I tried and stumbled on a sort piece of read was really tantalising. She simply thrashed all the lousy comments at me and then ended with a very relucyant not bad. It's ok, since I didn't really pay attention to her lessons. There must be balance in life. Mrs Goh's lesson was again had that atmosphere whhich was really undescribable. It made peace with our usual riotuos attitudes. That teacher's a godess. EFL was fantastic! They were having the Speech Day Full Dress rehearsel and it lasted for an hour. It was all proudly done by the Anderson's performing arts! Choir, I suppot you!

So after EFL was over, Mrs Kumar had to ruin it by giving me a $50 and calling me decorate the toilets again!!! I hate those ungrateful people who had to put the plants into the urinrer. It's all thanks to them that we would even need to redo! Had a rather 'restricted' outing with winnie and alicia later. We went to the manga store and winnie bought a book at $5.50 and it was expensive, original price was $4.80. Thnaks to the GST hike! Stopped at Mos Burgers for a 'lunch' and rest and chat session. Stayed there for an hour I think, because of my realy hot and expensive Calm chowder soup. Chatted alot. Went home with them also. And for the 100+ time, they were giving me advice to BE a SHUAI ge......-_-

The UNSW competition!

Feeling total yayness now! Stress of the competition has faded away....clearing for the happy mood.....and I hardly studied for the competeition. Did decently I supposed. Also glad to say that I used cheem-less words in that......the style should do the trick! I just want my credit. No need for any distinction or even distincton. There was also no homework today! I'm so loving this tuesday, except for two incidents that shook me quite abit.....

It was the first period......we had no assembly today as the grounds were WET! So, we had an extra half an hour of fooling around and catching up with homework. That was all fun when the Literature teacher stood in. She was a MRS Goh. Yeah, and does she look like a MRS. She was strict, neat ans prominent, the type of buisness-teachers. She was quite ok.....like all teachers do. Wingyiu forgot to bring the Sing to the Dawn book and I just shared with her with none of us saying to anything. (We were used to helping each other out). And the lesson went on quite smoothly.....nothing was interrupted and when she left, she left behind the atmosphere too, like all good teachers were able to do.

Another incident involved the new maths teacher. It was not that Mr Koh was leaving but somehow, thanks to the school arrangement, we got a new teacher and somehow he didn't even had tenth of Mr Koh's good looks or well-groomed body. He was a PE teacher. I really don't want to describe it but felt compelled to do so. His face was all pock-marked and his teeth was punched out. His skin colour resembled that of burnt toast and generally, his face looked pretty much like burned sunny-side-up egg. I couldn't bear myself to look at him. All I could do was to start a conversation with wingyiu about his features. It was wrong. I knew it. But I can't stop myself from doing it. I think his teaching could pretty much be the same quality as his face. His started 'teaching' us ratio, starting from the BASICS! (Sometimes I wonder why came to anderson in the first place) IF I HADN'T LEARNT RATIO IN PRIMARY SCHHOL, HOW COULD I STILL BE IN ANDERSON IN THE FIRST PLACE! It was such a humiliation. His punishments are also unreasonable. These are the punishment for not handing in homework on time
1st time : Give chance
2nd time : Give warning
3rd time : Call parents and mete out punishment
4th time : See DM
Unreasonable right? Not to meantion outrageous! I can't believe teachers like this still exist.

About the UNSW competition, it wasn't that difficult, they gave you the statement "Mobile phones have made life worse , not better" and asked you to agree or not to agree on it, then write out your reasons. I disagreed....it was easier to write. Ended up yalking to sarah and syakirah after the competition. I was using the NICE attitude towards sarah and it worked! We ended up talking for more than an hour and it was an enjoyable time. Now that sarah and I have patched up, things are going to look more optimistic......

The beautiful housekey!

My very own house key!!!

Yay! After waiting for months, I finally got what I wanted, a very own housekey......(part of the reason due to maid leaving)......but that's not all I 'm going to post......please sit back and read slowly.....there are going to be longer than the long post (also a good way to train for the UNSW writing competition tomorrow. I'm still going to flunk it......english too lousy already) So I woke up....not much different form other days.....thanks to my body who got used very quickly back to this old tireless routine......blah....blah...blah......and I met Mdm Toh at the YCK MRT station! Of all places! I didn't mean to alight at YCK....just that the careless, forgetful and pretty much supid part of me decided to alight....that means that I had to walk a longer distance....great isn't it....just what I need.....it was Mdm Toh that recognised me....I wasn't seeing anything except for the floor.....she went : "jinhu....", then I looked up...it was somewhat fright and happy? when I saw her.....then she asked me about whether I was fine.....the typical questions a 'long-lost' teacher would ask you....and I stammered and stumbled......that's me...

I was dripping with sweat the moment I reached the classroom, as usual, famaliar faces turned up and in a moment, all was back to normal......there were rumours that we would have a new maths teacher.....wonder what he'll be like. The lessons just zoomed, nothing interesting happened. Noise was aplenty as usual. I was back in the class again.

Don't you think the housekey looks rather nice.....and expensive too....$7.....but my dad already said that it's considered cheap beacuse our door lock was a DURO one.....and the key isn't even made of stainless steel, means that I would have to get used to using a rusty key soon.......

Bye June holidays....

You should always listen to your elders, even if you don't want to. They are powerful. really. My mother was one of those elders for example. At the start of the hoolidays, she had said that the holidays are going to end soon. I simply dismissed it. And I'm sad to say that she was right. Good stuff never last....*sobs*......time for cramming, learning, receiving scoldings and waiting for the next holidays.......anderson's got great plans for us! We are ging to have oral as soon as we step back to school! Great isn't it? And the exams are going to start at Week 6! Ooooo! I'm so excited....haha.....did not manage to finish every single piece of homework......still got gaps.....especially chinese! Need to perfect the art of copying soon! This post is going to be short since I have nothing to say. But then again, it's still a post......at least I think it was one. I think I got myself a new strategy. That is to be NICE to everyone! (including ppl I don't like) New term comes a new attitude! I'm so dead......but still a tiny bit better off than some! Going to have NAPHA test soon......I'm so bad at sports or any other atheletic execises......I never excercise. I prefer reading a book and keeping in contact with friends. Hope you like my new blogskin!

Maid-less and Housechore-ful!

Great, exactly what I need, more housechores, responisbilities and learning new abilities........yeah......our state of household is now in dire straits. Nobody to clear the dished, wipe the table, cook the dishes and many other household chores. So, my very adaptable and resourceful mum had improvised new duties, in addition to that pile of homework that is still not shrinking!!! It's already Thursday night! Haix.....going to kena lots of detention and scoldings this term unless I manage to clear my maths and SOME of my Chinese. It's not fair! Our homework is SO MUCH MORE compared ot the Normal Chinese (fyi I'm so stupid for choosing HMT!!!) Oh yeah, back to me being maid-less......

It all started on because of that phonecall. My sister andI were watching Maggie and Me. That phonecall was for the maid. Hurriedly, the maid when to pick up the phone and suddenly, burst to tears. The tears weren't of happiness......but of the grief of the husband getting involved in a car accident. Between tears, she instructed me to call my mum down. It was somewhat important, terrifying and destructive. Her brother-in-law had wanted her to fly back to Indonesia quickly to reunite with her husband. She returned to her family the next day. As they say, every ending is a new beginning. It would be the end of her stay in our house but the start of my nightmare......

So now I was given new positions, like assistant cook, toilet cleaner, laundry keeper, room and toilet superviser........here are some of the pics I took of my chores :
That's exactly the dushes I have to wash for tonight's dinner! and the clothes I would have to fold after blogging....

that's not all, not all pics of chores are available....perhaps next time.....

Overnights and the Great 6A Reunion

That's farhan, trying to block my camera!
Hi to Haziq who's meddling with his handphone
Yup, that's me and kc! Friends Forever!
And last but not least, all these are made possible by our pretty hostess, Rebecca!

As I had already mentioned, I'm still new to the posting photo system so please bear with the photos being at the front and the post being at the back!

These few days just prosper for me! I had two overnights and one reunion in just 2 days, yesterday and today........I'm still feeling a bit flustered......there is just too much excitement!

One overnight was at my aunt's house and the other was at my uncle's house, both who are older than my mum. In short, the one at the aunt's house was enriching and the one at my uncle's houseboth record-breaking and thrilling. At my uncle's house, I had, because of maple, slept at 4am and woke up at 8am!!! Only four hours of precious sleep! Heyys! Ithink I had already done quite a good job, training a lv1 cas beginner to a lv17 cas perfect stats mage. I am currently at Shanghai (maple) to fight chickens and ducks....they are really quite strong (as according to me) Most of all, I would like to thank my cousin for his patience in training me. Thanks!

After I left for the bedok bus-stop, I was starting to suffer from insufficient sleep syndromes, like having severe headaches. It was simply unbearable. I had to endure it for 1.5 hrs before I finally reach home and took a refreshing bath. Headed to THE WARREN (Rebecca's house) for that reunion (just like last time!) Glad to say that almost half the class turned up....yeah! We still have that little piece of Sps 2006 6A Class spirit!

Me, Livia and Kai Ying!

Our 'final' shot.....*sobs*
The 'yoga leg' position

I'm not sure how to post the pictures at the back so you'll just have to make do with this!

Sorry people, this post isn't dedicated to the Hong Kong trip but yet somthing more recent and memorable.......My 'shopping' trip with kai ying and livia! Actually, it's not really shopping since we really didn't shop (walk+buy) much.....all we did was to watch Shrek 3, eat at Long John Silvers for break and take neoprints! So much fun.......especially the taking neoprints part! But best of all, it was meeting up with kai ying and livia again.

Ok .....lets start with the movie......there was this really unfortunate thing that happened. Livia's brother and mother came along! It was supposed to be three of us only.......that was when livia quickly assure us that edwin and her mother would leave us alone after the movie.....but in reality, she was wrong.......we accompanied livia's mother and co. The time was 1.25pm. We were at the ticketing counter and all of us had decided on the 2.15 time slot. However, the ticketing lady gave us the wrong time....which was 1.25!!! So immediately, we rushed to the cinema room without buying snacks (much to kai ying's dismay). The movie was not as wonderful as I had hoped for, but at least there were much laughter and it helped kill 1.5hours of time.......we went for snacks later....nothing much to say here.......Ooooh I just love the neoprints machine part! We could even spend an hour there! We took twice of course, the first shot was poor......well....we flunked at timing and decoration. It was a first time so you can't blame us! There was this 'yoga leg' position! Can life get any better? We went to take final shots of us at the B1 fountain before we left....so sad.....good times never last.

A FANTABULOUS TIME!!!

You must be wondering if that is my new handphone......and if you think it is then CONGRATULATIONS! You're RIGHT! It's beautiful isn't it? It's also so deliciously thin. You're right, this is the Samsung Ultra Edition 8.4, the world's slimmest 3G phone! Haha! I'm crazy already. It was that holiday's fault for making me so rejuvenated and active......btw.....I 'm not going to post my vacation in this post, you'll have to look out for it in the next post!
I'm back! After a 1 week holiday and a Mcdonald's Birthday Party!!! I bet you can't wait to hear about my holiday.....it was fantabulous!!! I love Ocean Park! It's so much better than Genting......which is like so boring.....*yawn*......Oh yeah....as for the 'itenerary' I last posted, it was a lie. I didn't manage to take neoprints with my cousins, sleep in a hotel or take a train there. In fact, other than the neoprints part, the other were pleasent surprises! There's so much to say.....yet....I'm too lazy......I promise you that the next post will be full of info and pics from my trip in Hong Kong!

The Mcdonal's party was great......I met some of my sister's classmates and the scattered remains of Ryan's old greenwood class.......I think I only got to know Shakespeare....unique name.....I've never come across it before.....anyway, she was NICE. and well, a bit more enthu than everyone else in the party. But nevertheless, she was a great aquaintance. The party had dinner provided for us so my mum was glad (she didn't want to cook after being stuck in an airplane for 5 hours)
That's all I can manage to type in this post.......still got that tons and tons of homework I have neglected while on holiday!

Flying to Hong Kong tomorrow!!!

All thanks to my younger sister, I can't blog yesterday......there were so many events.....hilarious ones and thrilling ones. There will also be my travel plans in this post so watch out for it!
I missed choir, ipw and alot more activities for this tour........and I'm glad to say that the tour has been fun! Well, we visited an animal resort, a taiwan tidbits factory, a bird's nest factory and a Gardenia factory. Yeah.....I still can't believe I spent my whole day visiting those places. I had regarded them as a waste if time and MONEY! Whoever pays $8/person to smell dung, wait for inconsiderate people and eat in an air-con less foodcourt to pay exhorbitant prices for your food. My mother had encouraged this tour so I just went along, before I kena any more scolding.....buay tahan......I still haven't started on my homework yet.........ok.....so the animal resort was the first stop. That was the parrt where we sniffed dung......by all the geese, turkeys, goats etc......yeah, I think the smell is worse than rotten eggs......had nothing much to do there........next stop is what i call interesting, there were so many samples!!! And all the food are just so delicious!!! Why don;t they sell these kind if food in supermarkets?! Nevertheless, I was still able to lug the whole bag of goodies into the bus.......yum yum! Can't wait to try all these food! We had lunch at Ayer Rajah Foodcourt (refer to description at the top) and yeah, it fits in nicely.......I bought chicken rice at a dilapidated stall......it was so bad until I can't even find the black sauce or the tiny little plate you use to store the sauce and the chilli!!! They should have some standard at least!!! Even their food left much to be desired! It was bland and son un-chicken rice. When I tried to pour the chilli into my rice (since there was no tiny plate), THE WHOLE THING SPILT ON HALF MY PLATE OF RICE! Argh!!! That was one of the worst lunch I had ever eaten! The bird's nest factory bore me.....wasted 2 hours there. We managed to look at how Gardenia made their bread and were given free samples! It was delicious! That's it.....all for the most hated foodcourt in singapore!
