NAPHA and History tests!!!

So today was a fruitful day......well, sort of......lets start with the beginning of the whole day. To cap it off, I was extremely hyper the whole day!!!

It was rather fortunate and unfortunate I guess. What do you think of having your history test as the first period? So I flunked the source-based questions and did not perform up to standard. Guess it's all right since I didn't put much effort anyway! Went through longman and the components for the science test and ended up choosing biomass fuel as the science project topic. *sianx* Went to the library and read 8 days magazines and I hereby decree myself a celeb gossip-per. I think it was partly my fault that janelle and sarah started to get interested at what an orgasm means?! (thanks to the 8 days!) So, Mrs Lee, our blatant and straightforward, told them the meaning of it and they kept quiet immediately after hearing it. Sorry weixin for locking your phone accidentally! So it allwent on quite peacefully until when nicholas went to the corridor outside the computer room and LAO-SAI-ED on the corridor!!! It was the most DISGUSTING thing ever seen. The yellowish liquid just flowed through his shorts (I dun think he wears and underwear) and could be seen dripping through. It caused a small puddle of faeces outside the corridor. Of course he ran to the toilet when he saw that! Yuck! It would be inhumane and beastly if he just continued standing there like a block of wood! I shall not digress any longer. It will steal your appetite!

So we had NAPFA later.....and I improved! Yay! From 7 pull ups to 40! That's all because of Mrs Kumar's inaccurate counting! Sit ups also get B! Below are the results :

I just found out that history lesson do not rock early in the morning. I can't remember a fact and the test is just next week. I'm going to fail history! Yikes! Not even A1.....same as literature too! All because Mrs Goh always absent that's why we are forever lagging behind the other classes. I also just realised that 1/2 is actually the weakest class for the whole sec 1 cohort and I reckon about half of 1/2's going to retain or drop to NA if this goes on. It's just better sometimes to drop dead. Cannot fail english at all costs! As previously mentioned, I passed 2.4km run so no need to run the trial run for those who failed or did not come on the day of the run. Heard the retest is on next friday.....gd luck to those who have to run! No science lesson today because Mrs Dan didn't come. Spent the entire period copying the history notes Ms Lim wanted us to. English was just going through some cloze passages and learning about tautology. CME was about going through some funny topic which I can't remember now.

Skipped CME halfway (= , went for lunch with darrick before rushing off to Xin Min primary. Met the Mr Simon Lowe we were supposed to meet and the helpful teacher went on to provide the mikes we needed. Went to change although did not put in the gel (no time + I dunno how) and to our surprise, Rosemary was here! (the stoyteller which came to our school once to tell us some folktales) It was not bad. At least the students had attempted to answer during the Q&A sessions otherwise very pai seh......did not stutter and stammer during the storytelling although I also never made actions that would make the story more lively. Lazy me just stood there and looked at the audience while telling them a story I needed to tell. Just as well, after the session, Rosemary called me, darrick and the Mr Lowe to talk. She did 98% of the talking. Me and Mr Lowe did 1% each. Darrick was quiet. Went to eat at the canteen since I was hungry and also remembered how CHEAP primary school food used to be! *smiles* Went home with darrick in a taxi. WE DID NOT STOP AT ANDERSON but went all the way to admiralty instead since me and darrick had already decided. Bargained with the taxi driver ; agreed to pay him $11.50 no matter how much the fee would be and of course I lost by 30 cents! But the taxi driver was NICE and returned me the 30 cents. ALMOST LOST MY HANDPHONE but the REALLY NICE taxi driver reminded me to get it. These are the model taxi drivers that Singapore should have, not those who intentionally wait at some spot for a call from the company so that they can earn more money! With that, I salute this taxi driver and his honest and humble siprit.

It's been so messy these few days.....ok, there's no homework but I think I put better focus on that than other stuff......that must be what's making me such a lost person these few days (if you actually noticed!) Tomorrow's the day where I get on stage with darrick in Xinmin primary school to storytell! Argh!!! All that horrible lines......at least can skip EFL! Stuttered and stammered when I was supposed to read the story by heart to Mrs Yeo......so much pressure!! Must clam down......did similiar things before (jin hu zhi1 cuo4 le!!!) if anyone reading this post can remember.....must be crazy over sports this week....did more than 200% of sports than i would usually do in a week! What a feat! (as if...) Played badminton, did running, played volleyball and going uttely crazy..... I'm going mad.....

That's how I'm feeling right now. Due to my lack of sleep I think. So I hope you'd forgive me for having typo errors in this post. Lets start with friday's niceties...there were no lessons after recess! It was anderson's mini carnival! There was talentime and as expected, there were the talented and the deluded. Had loads of fun playing monkey with janelle and audrey in the classroom - the best way to waste time! Was extremely nervous and freaked-out dwhen queueing in the starting line. Everybody had a number tag and mine was 69.....looks alot like the Taoism sign - perhaps I won't do so badly. And I didn't! I clocked a time of 13.08secs for 2.4km and I was glad I didn't fail!!! Got an average C.....not so bad.....everyone made merry after the run and the whole of Cheers was crowded......walked all the way to school and began celebrating fridays : the best day of the week!

Had to wake up early to finish my housechores! Who wakes up at 8 to do housechores? Still fuming mad.....at least there was the sps family day carnival to look forward to! Reached there at 12.30 and the first thing I did was to climb four flights of stairs to see the 6A classroom. But instead, found out that the room had been completely transformed into the tamil room and that the 6B classroom was repplaced by the 6 Honesty classroom! What an insult to 6A 2006! Met many old faces at the carnival. No chance to meet up with lucas, although managed to meet his sister........if that's a good thing. Chat with kai ying, livia and noah before they left (which was quite early) Ended up hanging out with kc, rachel and bernice to Sun Plaza (cos that's where kc will have his organ lessons) Hid in a corner in the libraryto chat!!! So much laughter and craze! Then it was 4 and we had to say goodbye, by taking a photo of all four of us!

hot...cold...and sick

Today's rather sick...just can't explain it. Well, hope you can make out what ever you can from this post.

It was that food poisoning!!! It had to of all times, wrack me into a piece of cringing crap! It was miserable. Pathethic. Unfortunate. Ended up the few last people to end the race. At least still can run faster that nicholas (duh....) I found out that I can run shuttle run in 11secs. I know it's like snail pace to you, but to me, it's already not bad liao....still can clinch a C. HMT wasn't interesting, just that tiny bit of undone filing. Science and maths went on and I'm glad to say that english's still the best. Mrs Yeo's back! and the first thing she did when she saw me was to remind me of the storytelling. -_- Looks like I have to make a trip to Xinmin primary to tell a bunch of p5s stories on recounts of World War 2 next Thursday.
Unexpectedly (to me), there was the UNSW Engish competition today, which means:

-I cannot go and play in the Mac lab
-there's no chance for me to go alicia's house to play even if I can
-I would have to go home later because it saps up 1 hour of my time
-I have not studied a thing for it
-what's the point of getting a COP when you have to brave mental and 'physical' pains?

It was like sub-zero degress in the North Pole aka AVT room where I had to finish several Comprehension MCQ passages in 1 hour! It's also UNSW standard so that I don't have to worry about getting any award since I'm expecting COP. Stayed back to do some homework before going home...

PS: Ryan is irritating.

So I was damn unlucky today. But who cares? And all the stuff's been pouring on me for so long. I finally realised the root of the problem. The need for the homework to be finished and the soul to remain intact before the school day ends. Oh yeah, and thanks for the comments aleithia. They helped. To tell me what you think of me.
So the day is boring and put to waste. The worksheets gone and the bag in a mess. We had extra exercise for entertainment. just what I need. and the time slipped during the maths exam. I didn't bring the calculator. As if that wasn't expected. Prepared to flunk. Choir did not rock. 'See the Gipsies' weren't easy. At least we don't have any coming concerts to prepare for., not counting the one in november. We may even go hk. Yeah......that's all for today.

Yay!!! jinhu's at the peak of his happiness! All thanks to everyone around me! First of all, (starting form the morning) was the mrt-morning-rush. Managed to catch the train on time! Joked and made merry with ryan and yong liang. End result: ryan lost his ncc boots in the train because he was too engrossed in getting out of the sardine-packed train. First thing I did was to ramage my entire desk for the search of the missing donation card. haha! Luckily found it in the periodic table of my sciemce book! I love chemistry! HMT wasn't fun. Still haven't started on my HMT file. Maths was equally good at droning ppl into sleep.Learning all the crap that we already know. Played 'murderer' with ryan &co. So suay! I was kena caught for being the murderer! Lit is FREE period!!! Dun know where the Trixie Goh went, but wherever she went, it was definitely for a good cause! Btw, Mrs Yeo didn't come......so sad.......just when we were all expecting her arrival. Not sure who did it but they really are good, starting the 'Cantonese Craze'. Such that everyone in class was suddenly very interested in learning cantonese during the english and lit period. Wing Yiu, Siew Mun and me became the teachers and we all have enthu students, always making their 'teachers' laugh! For the first half of EFL, the vp talked to us about the sch's teaching and learning. It was COMPLETELY BORING! Just kept a ear open in case it was sth important. Then the grand moment came. haha! My name appeared for for both subjects. See jinhu so pro! always come out top! jkjk.....haha......so damn nervous......haix......ran out of money liao, so had to eat lunch in sch. *sobs*

Janelle was good. She managed to clinch the art certificate (janelle good in art?!) and took a really ugly shot of me. Argh! Janelle's going to post that in her blog.....haix......went to do some carving and printing in the art room to complete my art project. Spent about 2 hours there with alicia's company. At 3.30, rushed nack to class to see the class tee! ooooohhhhh......I like my name all of a sudden. Doesn't it seem nice in green set in a black background. I paid $18 for it leh.....FBT wad......got brand! Hurried to the MRT station with alicia to meet up with ming zhen. Ended up with mz being very 'pake chake' missing 7 trains for us! She really got patience! Then again, it's because she didn't want to go home alone. That's about this very memorable wednesday. Bye!

Plans for the after-exam period!

School is boring and I'm unlucky that's why I'm so grumpy. 'The school is grumpy' can be testified by many students and the 'I'm unlucky' can be shown from all the unfortunate events that keep befalling on me. For instance, I CANNOT find the donation card! I brought it to school to ask for signatures and after I had successfully done so, left the card on the table! Someone might have stolen it (please don't!) or it might have been blown off by the wind to some inconspicuos corner in the classroom........haix....then I'll have to report to teacher and go through alot of unnecessary procedures. Whta's more, is that the card cost 3hrs of CIP hours. Someone get me a bin, I'm going to be sick.......
Made some plans for the pre-holidays and post-exams period. First of all would be watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The graphics are really nice! (at least what the ad says) Also looking forward to read Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows! Going to read it by hook or by crook! Last but (definitely) not least, I'll be celebrating alicia's b'dae in a chalet! She say her parents let so we will be probably bbq-ing in the evening with the sea breezes sweeping through. Sounds nice!

Happy with this consolation present? Hope you are! OK...back to buisness. It was tiring to go back to school. The time we have to wake up at, the rush and the sweltering hot parade square!!! Air-con would be MUCH appreciated. hehe...ryan got caught talking because of me! haha! and I dun feel guilty! I was the one talking and ryan was the one keeping his mouth shut!!! This rocks! For P.E, we had to run 1.6km and I came in 2nd! I'm always second. Jerome beat me last time and now is Wei Le. Better be contented being second. There was also no spelling as the HMT teacher never come today!!! But, she did leave behind some nasty comprehension that I haven't finish yet! Science was ok...I suppose....but MATHS!!! (It's not Mr Leong's face this time) I had to be the Maths rep....yeah.....but I only did it for Mr Koh's sake! Haix......that was when all the holiday homework started to flock and 'tornadoed' my entire desk. If it wasn't for Wing Yiu's neat 'table-keeping', I would have died. English was boring...all about oral preperation. After school went to hand up the History project but realised that we did the research paper wrongly!!! And I said SHIT in teacher's presence and she started warning me for my speech.....Waited for Shi Hui to finish her homework while playing true or dare with wing yiu (she was waiting for wei xin)....went home and finally typed out all these for you.
