Speech Day 2008

This week is pretty normal and stressed up. Cause I really dislike being wrapped up like a cocoon in Singapore. Especially outdoors and that seem the only thing which speech day has given me. Then again, not really.

Nothing much to say now come to think of it. Just can rememer speech day out of all the numerous events. The rehersals leading to speech day were tedious and crapped. Especially the full-dress ones. It's worse than PE. There was also the introduction of of the new committee. And all that I voted came out as the best. Does that shows that I have good judgement? me and courtney replace jesslynn and adelyenn as level leaders. Another title to my many titles. Won in heart attack. Not good. Had to do major dare. Went around asking and hugging guys on "Want to be my gay partner" Gawwd. I almost died. Thank goodness for "This is a forfeit".

many things really happened but I'm darn lazy to type it all out. That's too bad.

Voices 2: A memoria

What can be more wonderful than that concert last saturday? It totally rocked.

I shall make this a short post. :D

Was changed to be a stall holder last minute and sort of groaned a little. But it was ok in the end. Practices were sort of nice and that ms lim didn't scold that much anyway. Pi pa gao is the choir's secret. yeah, I've drunk three spoonfuls of that thick viscuos black liquid in a day. I used to hate it five years ago. The dinner was plain but no complaints. At least there was dinner. FYI, the concert was full-house and I sang my 'best' but it didn't sound that good lols. why? Because I was standing in between the tenor sec 4 heroes. Content though. Mad rush in changing. Not nice since the room is smaller than half the size of an average-classroom. Musical was everyone's favourate item. It was great. And there was also self-initiated encore. ACSI was the guest choir. But it was anderson concert. And people will have this good impression of this concert for a long time.

Stayed home the entire sunday other than just going to macs to but mc flurry. Accomplished another feat. My compo. Yeah, it was a feat. cause I took about 3 hours and all my brainpower to finish it. Crossed a taboo accidentally. Incest. Please flip your dictionery. Was shocked when my uncle said that to me. But it's nice can...

Speech day performance is so over-rated. Why do the teachers stress so much over such a minor thing? And there are so many rehearsals too lahhs. Just hope to get that event over and done with soon.

Made him cry yesterday. Dunno exactly how it happened. He wanted to follow me home when choir was over and I was in a storm mood then. Then I wanted him to type out his compo cause his handwriting is not the nicest. And he kept arguing to me all the crap about choices and responsibility when I insisted. And he continued preaching to me. Like yeah, I was that mad liaos and he had to continue tearing me apart. Makes me feel like a loser standing out there. Then suddenly he would start crying out from nowhere and jinhu would seem like the bad guy. Shouldn't I be the once crying. Who wants to be the chief editor? Like I'm responsible for eveything in the world. I'm just calling himto type it out. Does he know I'm only fourteen?

So now he's pissed with me. Like I care. Shouldn't I be pissed with him. just hope that the little boy can realise about his shit mistake. soon.

Geography was on land constraint. literally. And the worst part was when all 9 people had to squeeze into a space one newspaper big. It was the crammiest cram ever. Art was me trying to catch up with the rest of the world. Stayed back for maths remedial even though I did not qualify. Crapped alot. And I'd just realised that being kind to it is one of the worst things anyone can do. It will just exploit you in the end. So why not take preperations against maggots. There really are many.

This is not exactly that short post.

Random...

This really is a random post. Seeing that I haven't posted for days. Because nothing that interesting ever happens nowadays. It's just choir 6 days/week and more tests and exams going on. Plus the battle of knowing others and yourself better. Yeah, I am the one who I shocks myself most. Come to think of it, I think people can be real shocking. After you uncover all that hypocrisy, you'll find the truth which is within the person. And these dicoveries are damn interesting.

Ohhs, and can everyone please hand up your short stories to me, lionel or sarah as soon as possible. And for record's sake, I haven't receive a single compo yet, because everyone's handing them to sarah and lionel. But I don't mind, you can give it to them if you like. I'll have less to do and more chances to hog the credit (if there is any). Btw, I'm really strict about expressing yourself properly and not so much on the tenses. Hope that everyone will put in hard work!

The tests are back and I'm not ready. Looks like another round with the history textbook, not to mention that there's drama tomorrow. Crammed schedule = poor results. Hate this equation. Pray that it's wrong.

The first drama outing was to watch a skit titled pinnochio's complex by the finger players in the drama centre. And they are right about viewer discretion. It's sick. But it's nice at the same time. So much better than the average drama serial.

Maths rep, chief editor, everyday choir, endless tests. These are all driving me to my wit's end.

Chief Editor

Doesn't it sounds strange that if someone tells you that you have been made chief editor, like when you're fourteen years-old. lols. It is strange. And I am one. No thanks to the entire class, giving me the extra responsibility that I don't need. As if I don't have enough matters in my mind.

Like dear old concert that's going to be in less than 10 days time. And tenor is still singing badly. And we are the worst section again. Doluri is not helping matters either; it's making them worse. Like hello, how easy can it be if you have to screech the high notes or whisper them in falsetto. It doesn't even sounds natural. It sounds like something out of this world, yet it lies just deep in every male choirster. The barrier of high notes. Like maybe, I'll not stress too much anymore. As for the sec 2 individual auditioning, it's up to those people up there. I've tried my best. You can kick me out of the concert if you want to and I won't be that bothered. Yeah, cause I've tried my best.

And the concert's adding alot of nerves in us. We want to do well. Infact, we will do well. I've done my part on selling the tickets. Now, I'll continue doing well in practising the songs though I'm score illiterate. I don't even know how to press the correct notes on the ancient piano lying in the living room. hehe, and I thought it was redundant. Not.

I'd just remember that I forgot almost whatever that happened during the rest of the week. I'd just know, that I end up feeling depressed everytime after school ends these few days. All that stress and straining. As for how I got chosen to be chief editor of the small book of our class compositions, it all started with that 'ingenius' idea of mr khoo. Like lols. It sounds pretty nice. But who's going to put in the effort? Me. Cause the whole class wants it. Despite how I refused the offer, the class continued to be against me. What have I done wrong to deserve this treatment? Getting high marks for english? That's not anyone's problem or is it?

Choosing the topics for the compositions is especially hard. When it's you against thiry-nine other people who come from different backgrounds, different views and different ideas. But they all had a common goal. To make sure I can't think straight. With all that noise and banter, it's hard to. Recruited the help of sarah and her temper came in handy. Chose thriller, love, fantasy and tragedies as key topics.

Spelling bee was a fluke. And we lost because our class was 2/2, which meant the 2nd class to answer the questions. And guess what, 2/5 won because they were able to answer the questions last in the round. Just like what mrs lawrence said : the world is unfair.

Drama was full of content today. And aruna asked me a stupid question ; which cca was I from and I gave her 'the quizzical' look, which she finally uncovered the truth and covered her face in shame and embarrassment of not knowing. This is an example of why ignorance is not bliss. Another tiring session of choir. Need I say more?

This is a ranting post.
