Doesn't it sounds strange that if someone tells you that you have been made chief editor, like when you're fourteen years-old. lols. It is strange. And I am one. No thanks to the entire class, giving me the extra responsibility that I don't need. As if I don't have enough matters in my mind.
Like dear old concert that's going to be in less than 10 days time. And tenor is still singing badly. And we are the worst section again. Doluri is not helping matters either; it's making them worse. Like hello, how easy can it be if you have to screech the high notes or whisper them in falsetto. It doesn't even sounds natural. It sounds like something out of this world, yet it lies just deep in every male choirster. The barrier of high notes. Like maybe, I'll not stress too much anymore. As for the sec 2 individual auditioning, it's up to those people up there. I've tried my best. You can kick me out of the concert if you want to and I won't be that bothered. Yeah, cause I've tried my best.
And the concert's adding alot of nerves in us. We want to do well. Infact, we will do well. I've done my part on selling the tickets. Now, I'll continue doing well in practising the songs though I'm score illiterate. I don't even know how to press the correct notes on the ancient piano lying in the living room. hehe, and I thought it was redundant. Not.
I'd just remember that I forgot almost whatever that happened during the rest of the week. I'd just know, that I end up feeling depressed everytime after school ends these few days. All that stress and straining. As for how I got chosen to be chief editor of the small book of our class compositions, it all started with that 'ingenius' idea of mr khoo. Like lols. It sounds pretty nice. But who's going to put in the effort? Me. Cause the whole class wants it. Despite how I refused the offer, the class continued to be against me. What have I done wrong to deserve this treatment? Getting high marks for english? That's not anyone's problem or is it?
Choosing the topics for the compositions is especially hard. When it's you against thiry-nine other people who come from different backgrounds, different views and different ideas. But they all had a common goal. To make sure I can't think straight. With all that noise and banter, it's hard to. Recruited the help of sarah and her temper came in handy. Chose thriller, love, fantasy and tragedies as key topics.
Spelling bee was a fluke. And we lost because our class was 2/2, which meant the 2nd class to answer the questions. And guess what, 2/5 won because they were able to answer the questions last in the round. Just like what mrs lawrence said : the world is unfair.
Drama was full of content today. And aruna asked me a stupid question ; which cca was I from and I gave her 'the quizzical' look, which she finally uncovered the truth and covered her face in shame and embarrassment of not knowing. This is an example of why ignorance is not bliss. Another tiring session of choir. Need I say more?
This is a ranting post.
