happy 14th birthday ming zhen.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MINGZHEN!

hah. that's for the choirmate, classmate, anderson sop, founder of ACGC, member of the table bbq people and good friend.

many many credentials isn't it.

she should be so proud. (not suanning)

damn, about 2 more hours left.

now i know why bj treated me with slightly more respect during today's reherasel. he wrote somethings.

had a terrible sore throat. (here we go again) and this time, i went to 7-11 to buy strepsils. not cheap. 1 box $4.40.

and at hwa chong, the sore throat got worse. and all the ahpehs had it. tenors died.

totally screwed up the performance. throat chocked during the first song. and timimg was all rather screwed for second.

other schools were great. but last year's gathering was more memorable.

and we got a gold. shameful isn't it? surely there's nothing to be shameful about and as usual, the girls overpowered the guys with their literally soraing vocals and put us down to humiliation.

the vicious cycle had gone on. it was the same during sebana cove last year.

went for lunch at some japanese restaurant with gladwin, birthday girl, siewmun, carey, casmelin and beiying.

were crammed into benches meant for 2 and was practicing being a waiter. well, gladwin and i were sitting next to the conveyer belt. ><

salmon steamboat comes as a great experience and knowledge of more japanese food. credits to carey.

cam war. not camwhore. totally different. you take pictures of other person instead.

the more unglam the better.

my phone is noisy.

and i got a new part-time job.

data entry. (:

i look forward to my first day of work which is the day where choir practice is.

CANCELLED.

we need textbook..

slack. slack. slack. roughly what i did today.

and now my entire body's aching. probably due to lopsided sleeping positions and heavy triple science textbooks.

hey, and on a brighter side, i managed to cram in 2 hours of chemistry.

covalent bonds. votality. giant molecular structure. it's all going. going. going.

not sure where it's going. -.-

and tomorrow's the day where anderson choir fights for its glory. we have to keep the spirit alive.

and it happens to be the chipmunk's birthday too.

and wake up at 6.30 too.

i think i'm really gonna have nodules.

i think i'm really gonna have nodules. after all that screaming.

and today wasn't great. adelynn calls it the pre-syf condition. the part where ms lim starts screaming her head off at us.

like how she walked out of us today. and how she said that we weren't her choir.

shocking news.

didn't really wanted to sing because of bad sore throat. but then when i saw how those people with bad sore throats like me were singing, you just couldn't help but feel that you should put in that little bit more of effort.

except that it wasn't just a bit more effort, it was a revival of some sort. i was screaming the note F towards the end of the song.

but what i did couldn't really be compared to the tremendous effort that the choir used to pull themselves up after that terrible telling-off session. heart-warming.

and we were all told to have more fighting spirit. sure. lets fight on saturday.

bought the books today and it was expensive. $249.95. and that's excluding the one book which is not yet in stock.

heavy. heavy. heavy. i should start an exercise regime.

back to choir, i feel that everybody's been feeling out of sorts after that WISC concert. and maybe that's why we were sing COP today. sore throat, flu. understandable. i'm not going to once again preach on why choir should do this and that. well, come on everybody, we are anderson choir and that should be enough to motivate and make us feel proud of ourselves. after all, we are one choir, one sound. but i feel, most importantly, one team.

(:

i feel that choir is going to come out well. in some way or another. more seasoned and experienced. or maybe it's just because we'll be true seniors next year. (:

and there was this paticular incident which happened during one of the rehearsels in the WISC concert.

I-ma to tomitoka, Me-i yonaraba became I-ma watashino, ne-ga igotoga.

there was a huge clash and suddenly everyone was pinpointing at one another and there's the part where the organiser, another ms lim goes, "I'm not sure who is wrong or who is wrong at this part but..."

she was rudely interrupted by the stiffled yet loud giggling going on throughout the combined choir.

a moment before that scene, the pupils from the Australian International School were pointing admantly at the empty seed which would be later promptly filled by the students of DPS International. and on no notes of racism, an Indian school.

as quoted from the em-cee, "the song, which means please give us wings will help to take the newly forged friendships to greater heights", or something like that.

i won't want to call it an irony.

WISC

okok, this is the official post on WISC. haix, some might say, finally.

the backstage is very much like a hospital ward. and we seemed like a big group of patients parading through the corridors. for all we know, there might be real patients lying bedridden on those cold steel framed hospital beds, annoyed by all the noise that 330 students can create.

that's roughly the total number of choir and band members for the finale.

an image of a car factory is conjured. several mechanical arms drill the wheels into the car in tandem. then, in the stuffy, unsettling atmosphere of the car factory, the cars get churned out and you gaze, eyes watering with pride at the little critter that just slipped off the conveyer belt.

lets try re-enacting the scene in a different way. in an industrial kitchen, a typical canteen aunty scoops a dollop of rice and dumps it on the correct corner of the bento box. then, another uncle, with his transparent gloves picks us a choice cut of soya chicken and slides it into another compartment of the bento box. the pickup truck stationed outside waits to transport all that food to the premier arts centre of singapore.

i suppose i ate dinner with relish. it's the only meal that's enjoyable. the others, felt too mechanical and industialised. cold, hollow curry puffs and mechanical egg paste sandwich weren't very enjoyable.

but think of the poor african children out there.

haha. my tagline. learnt many tricks from the seniors, the 'triangle', 'number' and many many more.

the concert itself went pretty well i suppose. the soloistswere great. really. i mean singing to the entire audience solo. any mistake and you're a goner.

we had to sit through 45mins of performance being statues. and pohseng wasn't feeling very well. resisted coughing and sneeezing until during the applause. cool dude. and get well soon.

learnt many things. self-development. can't say it here.

we are only mortals and maybe that's the biggest excuse of all.

stand-in posts.

ever heard of some unheard calefare taking the place of some bigshot celebrity whenever the celebrity has something to take care of?

like tonsils or a dead dad?

likewise, this post is a group of what i call stand-in posts. a posts which helps diverts the attention of the reader until the main action is ready for show. like one of my great posts on that great conversation.

haha. that's all i have to say.

the bk after-effects

am feeling really happy that many people responded to my post on that conversation. truth to be said, that little thing came to me as some sort of an epiphany. oh well, it served its purpose: making my blog a slightly more interactive place.

it feels so bland talking to a wall sometimes.

choir today wasn't that bad. as far (or as close) as syf is concerned, everyone's starting to suffer from side-effects. well, ms lim wasn't in those wonderful, terrific, i'll-never-scold-anyone kind of mood she was in three months ago.

pressure, pressure. under pressure.

finally managed to piece mamayok together. very similiar to fixing a jigsaw puzzle. and the extra sessions before choir never really materialised. so as a surprising (or not so surprising turn of events), i had lunch with my SL. what a great honour that was.

i don't think i can stop teasing him. haha. at least not now.

my vocal cords seem to die everytime during and after choir and would recover instanously the next day. maybe i have those vocal nodules. -.- hope not. maybe that's why i'm not singing that loud anymore.

hehe. nevertheless, still got chosen for acapella. ><

sure, it comes as a great shock, how can that skinny, egoistic boy next door be seleted into that 6-member group? well, i do believe that life do has many shocks and this is just one of them.

thanks to courteney lim tien li, i learned to let go. and the negative description of me was just one of the loose strings left to untie.

yeah, so now i'm in acapella. and the strange part is that i can't learn anything thing that concerns music. so i will be struggling. not for the first time anyway.

finally, a true and proper reason for me to reply to tags; there are enough tags to reply.

Cl: *sniff sniff* Do i sense sarcasm? LolXD That was a funny post.

NO, there's no sarcasm at all. :O haha

i thought i was dying.

firstly, i have no idea why she suddenly popped up on me while i was waiting to see if maple can be accessed. she's my choir junior and is, as ironic as it may be, is in sop1. well, maybe it is suitable for her. i am in no position to say anything.

however, i did pick up several things. firstly is her english. if you'd notice properly, she tries her best in flaunting her english skills in front of me by using standard english. i do believe that she tried her best, though try as she might, the flaws are widely evident. isn't it taught in lower primary, that anything after do, did or does, the next verb should appear in present tense. another example would be using singular form when addressing two parties (how is you and adelynn). i would like to assume that it was an occasional slipoff from her otherwise perfect, flawless english. (after overlooking all the other mistakes that is)

secondly, i am touched to know that i have such a caring junior who not only cares about my life in choir, but my personal life as well. it can all be explained by how she teased me provocatively about my non-existent love life and enquires about my teasing of a good friend of mine. still, it is her concern that sparked off this rather intriuging sequence of questions.

lastly is her defensive nature. do note that she persistently warned me abiout not doing certain things that would be consequential to her. this act of self-love is perhaps as great to those of my tv idol, dae jang geum (jewel in the palace). it is once again, the intense selfishness of it all that surprises and comforts me in knowing that i have such a caring, A in English junior who is ever-conscious in her well-being.

nice? i thought that would seriously improve my rusty writing skills. went out with the table bbq people today and met them at northpoint.

ate at the new japanese foodcourt today. seafood omelette rice comes greatly recommended.

and there was sort of a photo war. got killed several times by siewmun's rifle. my ally gladwin wasn't in the best state too. but fortunately, siewmun's second in command, mingzhen, ran out of bullets and had to retreat. still, siewmun fought bravely and survived the legend of a true comrade. ROFL.

bullets = memory card space.
guns = phone.

library was small but new. found this tiny little corner where the four of us gathered to share with one another our theories of the arcane mysteries in choir. our shared theories did uncover a conspiracy too. o.O but i'm not going to say anything about it.

went to j8 after seeing that northpoint isn't a great place to loiter. and while mz went to the barberhairdresser with her true comrade, siewmun, just outside the salon, me and gladwin went on a secret mission. can't tell.

then i sort of dragged the rest of the people to swensens for break. economic recession so we only ordered the timeless and value for money topless 5. great rest after a long day of loitering.

haha. there's choir tomorrow. can't wait to get scolded.

the constant degrading.

it sort of came to me today that after 3 weeks of holiday, i was constantly degrading and still am.

while everyone took the long break to fulfil a personal achievement, i'm still splurging my time on computer games that gets one nowhere. and in addition to that, still suck at the computer game itself.

haix, one word fits it all. pathethic.

i said that i will study chinese and maths and spend more time in the great outdoors.

up till now, i've only completed 2 hours of chinese and an hour of math. holiday homework still untouched. and struggling to get out of bed to read a book. so much for great outdoors.

ok, i need a turning point. and am desperate of one.

it's only during those intervals in my life did i actually do something constructive and that doesn't include choir.

i need deadlines and discipline. maybe add in a little innovation. desperate, i might actually copy mz's method and start downloading chinese songs myself.

it's like running on a treadmill. wasting your energy staying at the same place.

wasting your life going nowhere.

an analogy of my current lifestyle.

self-delusion/manipulation theory

yay. i'm not the only one who thinks about the self-manipulation/delusion theory.

simply, it's a theory which one uses to change one's believes so that they can fit into the ideals of the world.

it's something like X not liking teachers. but in our world where teachers are respected, you'll only be resented or isolated by the majority of your community if you show your pure dislike in obvious ways. so to be able to fit in, or simply do the 'right' thing, one has to reason and rationalise why the opposite is true and be prepared to embrace this new ideal. after changing your mindset, the rest is simple.

after all, your believes influence your actions.

part one. i'm still thinking about part 2.

here it comes again.

crap, the post that i wanted to post got deleted.

*throws rotten vegetables at singtel*

and now i'm repeating that very long post

SCREAMS

here it comes again.

i mean the scolding that tenor got today.

*brings back memories of the old days approximately one year ago*

and more thanks to mamayok which brought all of it back.

didn't like the song at first and didn't bother to learn. but had to salvage the situation in the end and did whatever i could.

nah, bj is good. and he will CONFIRM be the future SL of tenor. that reminds me of how badly i teased him today.

the episode also made me realised how sebestian had actually been the pillar of anderson tenor all this while. he defended us while we scrambled to learn. he shielded us from the harsh reality of real trainings.

succintly, he was spoiling us.

and deep down, i had to agree, ms lim was right. because for us sec2 tenors, it was his teaching that we were accustomed to right from the start. and with him suddenly disappearing, we were all caught in our act of over-dependency.

so no more free beating and notes. it's back to independent learning. we have to count ou own timing. we have to figure out our own notes.

we have to sing by ourselves.

about time anyway, it's the moment which must one day come and has apparently came.

but that also means we have a new SL. Introducing Pang Biaojin, the new tenor SL.

*three cheers*

and your other two ahpehs will always support you. *waves a flag*

thankfully, through all these mess, we didn't have to sing noyosa.

that means no tenor solo.

phew.

and yes, gladwin you are a good photographer.

alas, the tickets are finally here. and when i asked for 1, got three.

haha. BJ, i know you're jealous.

><

thank you mr poh. (:

a blog review

went to do some research on blogs. research as in the content of posts and the style of writing. noticed that everyone has their own style and it seems amusing, personal and unique. and through all the posts, all that thoughts and all the feelings, flaws are exposed. feelings so raw, they shock.

it's something like seeing a live heart beating still. it's definitely disgusting and repulsive but it's honest, true and sincere. or so is the symbolism of the heart.

i had many people asking me why i didn't take literature, seeing that i like the use of words and everything. well, i don't really know why myself. maybe i'll take it in the future.

poetic justice. it makes me shiver just by thinking about it. but it's a beautiful literary device.

To err is to human.

eveybody makes mistakes. and i guess what distinguishes all our mistakes fro the severity of it all is our background and circumstances. take for example a rich kid and a beggar's child stealing candy from a store. the rich kid would naturally be excused as the owner would not want to bear the wrath of the kid's rich and powerful parents. on the other hand, the poor kid would be chased out of the store immediately and there would be another scene that would humiliate both the kid and his parents.

i know all my crap theories sound weird.

mingzhen's house.

i like censoring posts. that's why i just censored my last post.

too much information.

alicia and yewrong are probably in china now. hope they come back in one piece. o.O

and went to mz's house today after a huge interverning of plans. and many people didn't want to go. or couldn't make it.

so it's back to the seoul garden clique, with me, gladwin, siewmun and mingzhen.

cliques, you gotta hate them and love them.

had much to say. but don't really feel like pouring all i have into here. sometimes, i even wonder of creating a blog that only i can enter. still too many censored things despite a group of inner friends.

just had to say a few things:

i didn't know that ben xiao jie slept in the same room with her brother.

never let anyone else be the banker for blackjack. (especially gladwin)

ben xiao jie's chopping skills are unlike anyone else's in the world.

siewmun can be very lucky at times.

ben xiao jie's house is 10-15mins away from mine.

tenor solo. hahaha.

"don't cry if you don't get chosen..."

i think i'd rather cry if i got chosen.

but i didn't cry, even though i got chosen.

that's why i'm contemplating calling in sick on monday. and sebestian's not coming. so if i don't come, tenors might have to work harder. i don't think so though, they still have biaojin and pohseng.

on monday, ms lim mentioned something abot nodules in front of the choir about sebestian straining his voice to help us. then, i found out that it was indeed a rather scray thing. but there have been many famous singers like mariah carey, whitney houston, sarah brightman and lee ryan of goo goo dolls who had nodules. and from what i heard it affected their voice.

so i was dreading noyosa today and didn't really want to come. i mean 5 hours of singing. still completed noyosa in the end. and did i mention that i like endings? ok, explaining that some other time.

and wala, just when all of us were thinking that es, we had finished all our syf songs, dear ms lim went to tell us that she thought noyosa was too simple and she wanted to change it to japanese game! that new song is nice. and then for no apparent reason, she went to talk about noyosa.

"jinhu, i want you to sing the tenor solo and complete it by monday. don't worry, i just want to test you and don't cry if you don't get chosen..." or something like that.

i don't think she realised that she left me speechless for a moment.

and for once, i wasn't questioning my capability. well, i stood no chance in finishing the sing with 50 people singing against me and the notes are just....weird.

so i went on to think why she chose me instead. and the immediate reasons were that she despised me and wanted to drive me to te end of my tether by singing a solo that won't be in syf. the other reason was that she believed in my capabilities and wanted to give me a chance in showcasing my talent. that 'so-called' talent by the way.

to this fix, i'm not sure whether i should laugh or cry.

cry perhaps, i had to stay back for 1 hour of additional sectionals when almost everyone had went home. with the exception for sebestian and the rest of the committee members.

and adelynn and yewrong who were nice enough to wait that one hour.

but yewrong didn't wait aimlessly. that i'm sure. *hint*

and i think it would be nicer and more honest if i think of the latter reason.
aww, maybe i shouldn't post any thing at all.

and that includes the mini debate which i had in my head.

blithe.

just finished reading for one morde day by mitch albom. spaeking of which, i have tuedays with morrie and the five people you meet in heaven.

that sort of defines my reading plans for the next few days.

going for chinese tuition, i told my mum that i wanted it so presto, it's burning my saturday afternoons.

there's choir tomorrow and have to learn noyosa. bceuviurgnf7r. something 'constructive'.

ok, really wondering when she will reply. maybe i should just call.

thoughts. censoredmz.

did we play too hard?

did we bring the threat of tears?

okok, that's enough. enough provoking and enough of rumours.

enough of who likes who and who loves who.

250th post.

say cheese!

today was a really great, really fun day. if only everyday was as wondeful.

haha. didn't expect rehearsels to be so fun. went to the esplanade in preperation for the WISC concert. had to report there at 9.15. but i met up with gladwin at 8.30, kathib and took the train together with him. oh, that was a nice train ride. then saw lucas and aaron waiting for amos. waited with them and was almost late. 9.15 on the dot. (:

then we received special artist passes to enter the backstage. and wala, even the backstage looked like some high class private hospital. really. even the breakfast tasted like hospital food.

and yours truly got selected as one of the 'strong singers'. really. anderson is too hardpreseed and had to pick one of the most pathethic singer in choir. a sec2 who has no brains in music. lol. nothing much to say.

but there's much to say after the rehearsel.

my voice is ah...ah..ah...*zhao xia*

had to keep coughing to keep whatever voice i had left. and thanks to the really great suggestion that gladwin had, we went to seoul garden for lunch. :D

it was sort of a choir lunch because 16 people went. but split tables so in the end, i got stuck with mingzhen and siewmun but thank goodness gladwin was there. XP

the noise. the laughter and the looks from the surrounding patrons. i regretted not taking off my name tag.

filled bowl after bowl, plate after plate and soup after soup.

i make great soup. haha.

at least that's what people say.

then later went to tour around marina square. tried shades and decided that a pair of geek specs might look good. then went to myuk and wanted to buy a new wallet. but no one other than gladwin wanted to join in so just left that shop.

and i saw THE SILENT FORCE in HMV. and it costs $28. i thought of my holiday budget and turned on to that frail disc containing 1 hour of euphoria. then decided that since we are suffering from a recession, i should actually leave my card at home. that's to say that i will have no more money in my wallet. it's a really long-winded way of saying things.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

late post.

this post came two days late. and soon three, seeing that it's 10.30 now.

friday and yesterday was great. much to tell.

went to adelynn's house on friday after choir with yewrong and sandra. biaojin decided that it was more worthwhile practising piano on the day before his piano exam than having free lunch and billiard. ohwell, it's his choice. xP

lunch was great. there was sushi, soba, miso soup and green tea. that was the great part. and the not so great part, wasabi. first and last time. i'm not going to eat it again.

and there was billiard. and the first time was indeed very fun and memorable and all the other predictable words you can use to describe a session that was extremely enjoyable.

and there was shepard's pie for teabreak too. yewrong's fav. she even packed half of it home.

and there was yesterday which was kenneth's party. surprised to see that many people went.

and the barbeque was ok. tossed in whatever junk food there was available.

treasure hunt. treasure hunt. didn't find anything in the end.

have been chioning maple for the past few days. level 64 now. haha. 6 more levels to go.

and there's choir tomorrow. white horses.

Thursday, November 6, 2008

sleepy.

exhausted. and there's no reason why.

i guess it's like that. holidays do seem to bog you down. and when i went to ace learning to download the homework, i realised that i had forgotten how to do half the questions in there.

still sleeping. but am wide awake. zombified.

thank goodness there's choir tomorrow.

did i say that?

spreading within temptation

spreading the love. within temptation is now roaming around in my inner and outer circles. ohyeah, they really should come to singapore and i 'll buy their best ticket to hear her sing to the top of the charts.

within temptation. never before.

gambling. breaking even.

feeling rather bored now, so i shall post a short column on the gambling that happened yesterday.

no.1, i didn't win money, nor did i lose. i broke even. so for those who thought i won, well, i didn't.

next, all those winners are actually behind the scenes. and they are the 'silent assasins'. those people who don't make much noise. *shuffling of cards*. haha. and i swore i didn't pocket any cards. i'm too clumsy to do so. *deck of cards spills into one big mess*

lol. and don't feel too sad about losing or too happy about winning when you should feel happiest that you had fun. money sort of increases the tension and excitement. the lure too. that all made it seemed that it actually increased happiness.

but it doesn't, i feel. i think it's the interaction between people that increases the happiniess. which reminds us how mahjong need not be gambling but an activity to stimulate mental faculties. and how the laughter and the noise in blackjack is actually needed to build and strengthen bonds while increasing fulfilment. which brings us back to why playing blackjack should actually be a good thing.

propaganda. nah, not really.

anderson sops.

anderson sops, i'm challenging you. haha. this is Jillian, a song by Within Temptation and sung by sharon. LOL. hehe. XD

presidential elections

today is the presidential elections. oh, so much tension.

today is also the day 7 people are going to wreck my house down, lets see...(in no particular order), zhan rong, bejamin, siewmun, mingzhen, johanna, alicia and winnie.

dimeng and ryan didn't come. one was sick. the other wasn't at home.

so it was fun to say the least. we'd all call gambling fun won't we?

and ok, it's a pity that the day has to end. and it's ok. back to more pressing methods.

presidential elections: i don't really have a choice. obama or mc cain, it's really gonna be interesting.

and to even more pressing matters. class allocation. is after christmas so it's so sad that we'd only know who we end up with after christmas. who knows what 3/1 will have...(the thought seems to make me hear the barking of bitches somewhere out there)

nothing really much to say. except that i have another letter for him which i'm noy going to post it here.

we all need a little privacy.

super exaggeration

i think that life can really be such an exaggeration, a parody, a paradox, an irony and even a question.

but i can't seem to think of any examples right now.

my last AYA was eventful i supposed. sat in mr ang's car. (i think he forgot that i used to be a problem-kid). and sort of chat my way throughout the journey.

nanchiau was rather tired by time we reached. well, they had been sitting for an hour listening to droning talks and coporate/'my school is the best in the world' video. and the dialogue that me and courteney had once again was interesting. well, it was largely improvisation seeing that we didn't bother to rehearse at all. and edgar, our understudy for that day thought it was rather good. crap, we told him, crap.

and he's this ncc guy who aspires. good ambitions and nice attitiude. i think he's ok.

sort of dragged feet around school. and went to used to library computer but figured out that it was too slow for anyone's use. thanking my lucky stars that the com lab was open.

3+2. got it. and now have to start studying for it.

bumped into mingzhen and casmelin so had lunch with them.

choir was...uhm...interesting? you didn't actually think that ms lim would let us learn a 5.5min song for syf competition before she realises that it was too long. ohwell, that hungarian song was a great experience.

found out that there are also many 3+2s in choir and started devising a really crap theory as mentioned below.

the theory of impact.

remember the time when you were supposed to leave your class for some reason because of your cca? and that it seemed quite awkward sometimes because you are one of the very few poeple who actually stood up to move? so if choir owns 3/1, then if there are any reasons should we leave class, then can you imagine the impact of several heads mushrooming from the sea of pupils? it's going to be rather amusing.

dreaming without sleeping

dreaming without sleeping.

sleeping without dreaming.

and i've been thinking. as quoted from janelle, "humans are hypocritcial".

disclaimer though: i'm not sure who she was referring to and to which extent.

anyway, i'm thinking about everyone at the moment. and i think she's damn right. yeah, that's after an hour of self-reflection. it's a really heartening experience to finally think you understand life's lesson.

shalln't post much on my thoughts of that matter in this or maybe any other post.

and with reference to janelle again, i'm going to nan chiau for my last AYA session. it's tomorrow and i'd have to reach school at 7.30. then, after the entire thing, i'll have 2 hours of free time to burn before choir starts. i plan to:

read all my unfinished books in the silence of angmokio library.

i don't know what i can post anymore. all those censored thoughts and fears are out. no way someone is going to blackmail me in anyway.

with reference to that, it's my great grandmother's birthday today. woah and she's 90+ which is really an impressive age. sadly though naturally, she is plagued by all the health problems and is going senile with each day passing. well, good luck to her.

he thinks that he was really a jerk last time and maybe even worse than that. as he reflects on his past and how he's painfully suffering for all the consequences today. and he wishes as with his plans and such, to become a better person while being himself.

yeah, that's about it.

pizza hut's cockroach

haloween was very fun and thanks alicia for making last night possible.

reached home at 11.30 and slept at midnight. and it was raining heavily at 5am.

(:

and just then, at 8 in the morning, my dad forced me out of bed.

lols. and my uncle's theory went something like this. "wake and sleep early so that you will be healthy, wealthy and wise".

went to marine barrage for a small tour around the place. oh, it's nice and the architecture is really state of the art. and with all, this the prices of carnival food is usally high. like the 12pcs of cheese balls which i bought for $5. but it was nice.

then had lunch at ____ when i ate the same thing yesterday. o.O

THERE WAS A BABY COCKROACH (NYMPH), RUNNING ALONG THE TABLE.

just then, one of the staff members used his fingers and pinched the cockroach out. well, as far as the story goes, two things are for sure. i'm still wondering if he washed his hands after that and whether i will ever go to the same outlet again.

chances are, i will forget about the matter and continue going to the same outlet.

but maybe insist on sitting on a different table.

you really wonder how a restaurant got away with an A in hygiene while having cockroaches running in their restaurants.

my mother even speculated that there might even be a colony of them hiding in some nook and cranny of the restaurant since what we saw was just a nymph.

and almost evil though, a small part of me hoped that my sisters would shriek the word 'cockroach' louder so that all heads will be swivelling towards our directions and true drama will be experienced. speaking which, true drama is really hard to come by.

and is so especially needed, holidays.
