bastardize.

Go hell!

I seriously feel like bastardizing someone. Someone who ruined my day. Someone who....

Well, we won again. This time against Temasek. Bitchy guys who are smirking one corner at us. And not only them, their teachers were ridiculing at us.

But see what happened. Anderson got the last laugh.!

I don't like arrogant and bitchy humans. They leave me feeling like a pile of dump each time there happens to be friction or interaction. There is more to debate than just debating. Etiquette, it's equally important too.

Damn, if only the world was a sunnier place.

OK, I need to get some ranting space. I have things to say. A lot.

The grammar's test a bitch. I'm going to fail it.

And so is physics, I think I might fail that too. After thinking that a single alphabet is needed to substitute a whole word, I marvel at my near-zero intelligence.

Please don't say that I'm trying to suan you or anyone because I am not. The second dreaded, miscommunication.

Eyelids are drooping, headache is coming. Goodnight.

this self-centered fool.

This self-centered fool sits down and wait, flipping his physics book, preparing for the next day's test. But one could see that his eyes were staring blankly into the one of the pages, his ears pricked for any announcements. The bell rang, intermittenly. They were not of his calling though; they were simply noise. Until a certain sharp ring sturck did he muster all his books and bags and dragged them into the cool air-conditioned room.

This self-centered fool doesn't know what trouble he is going into.

This self-centered fool is typing this post now, not studying for maths, or physics.

Yeah, I'm really sorry guys if I had been rather self-centered of late and accidentally divulged things that I wasn't supposed to say. It's this issue, though not resolved, has been supressed. At least for now.

You know the history test that we have. I am here to tell you that I've finally flunked my first history test. Now I believe what the seniors say about failing history. It's possible. It's very likely.

Goodbye history, the distinctions were in the past. But we'll get it back. Somehow.

Today's PE happened to one of the more interesting volleyball games I ever played or not played in my life. Holy. and his head. He's incredible.

Anyway, happy spamming my tagboard. Here's to some junker who decided my blog was the best way to spend time. I'll just delete it. You'll post more. I'll delete some more. And the cycle goes on. And I do like cycles. Alot. You test my patience. I test yours.

critical condition.

I have a problem. But I'm not going to say anything here. It's a major problem. And I'm freaking concerned about it. Good luck trying to figure out that problem if you have the time.

And no, it isn't about love or friends or schoolwork.

So we got back some results today and I supposed they are ok. There's nothing I can do to change them so I'll just accept them. One day, I'm going to learn how to be even more calm and stay rational during irrational times.

I wanna rant.

criticalconditioncriticalconditioncriticalconditioncriticalconditioncriticalconditioncriticalcondition.

I have plans for the weekends. But sadly, the saturday which I was looking forward to was booked by another session of choir.

Time can heal wounds. I'm counting on time now. Time had better heal wounds.

Time, I beg you, please heal wounds.

I can't think of anything but that now. It occupies me and blocks whatever I'm thinking.

The faster the problem's resolve, the better.

nus concert

I'm currently feeling very tired and pissed. What the hell lah. Someone spammed my tagboard. Currently thinking of privatising this entire blog altogether.

Regarding the misunderstanding yesterday, I'm sorry for any misunderstanding, with special mention to jingwen. It's getting really messed up. Haix, it's no use trying pinpoint anyone for fault finding because everyone's at fault.

Bad communication is one of the roots of all misunderstandings. They have their reasoning. We have our logic. And here, we unleash, yet another debate.

Debate doesn't just come in the form of 1 hour battles where there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd speakers argue their way to victory. I think every argument, quarrel or fight is just another form of debate. And the above-mentioned scenario is just like any other.

Sooner or later, we're all gonna face some situation that we have to confront. Someday, somehow.

There's more to say and it'll all be said, tomorrow or later. But I can't find the drive to keep going now. Because, faltering spirits are bringine me down.

Before I end off, happy birthday aruna.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

Korean trip. It's confirmed. Pang Jin Hu can go. (:

So we got the forms today and my mum signed the consent form without any grudges. Pleased perhaps. I can't be too sure.

So for the other 59 people or more out there, you'd better say yes. Because it's not everyday that you get to go overseas with friends for a noble cause. And sec3s, I hope that we will have at least 20 of you. Hey, we'll be the most senior kids there, because the sec4s have to concentrate on their 'O' levels. Sour grapes. Lol. After all, you'd been to Czech republic when you were in sec1. Our turn!

It's about three months after SYF. Seoul, here we come.

I think we have 'O' levels too. Yeah, chinese. o.O and it's the oral. We'll all work hard together. And we'll all have extra lessons together too.

There's nothing we can do isn't it. It falls in term 3, week 3, so we'll be skipping school for one whole week. Yay! No school. But I can't believe the homework we're gonna be scribbling after we get back.

Very high now. Depression will have to wait. I just finished geog. Still got XXX homework to do. Then there's debate in an hour's time, same team as last time. dhurrgah, minyi and stephanie. I suppose the arrangements didn't please everyone. I'm alright though I did though that there will be a different team set-up. I happened to learnt things which would probably last a lifetime.

My 3rd speaker's speech is kinda crapshoot. I have only 1 rebuttal so far. ZZZ. I'm talking about JG sparring here, not English class.

We have English debate. I do wonder why the school is so fanatic over debate. Crossing of words that is. Back to preparing another rebuttal sheet.

If time was non-existent, what would it be like. If the hourglass never released an ounce of sand. If the clocks never ticked. Will everything be frozen and would there only be nothingness. For everything is preserved and time never moved. Because time is the moving force behind change.

I'm not emoing but those words sound so and deep. By the way, today's my dad's birthday, and it happens to be cheryl chng's birthday too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BOTH OF YOU!

The birthday present which I gave my dad was probably one which I spent the most effort and time at. A Chinese compo dedicated to him. I think it's quite high up in the hierarchy of dedication and effort. It took alot out of me.

I'm having queen of hearts in approximately 4 hours time!

you call that results?!

I've seriously got to assess the meaning of results. There are two meanings. The more official being the grades you get in an exam or the readings you take in some SPA. Then the other one, refers to good grades. Something like someone from the top echelons in their class saying "I've got results."

I'm not even close. I have results, but then again, I don't have results. A paradox. Literary devices are fun. And history, just like all the other subjects, have been depressing.

I passed A maths. Barely. Things don't look so bright here. More bleak than bright.

I'm also referring to the new seating arrangements. And the last row is where I sit. For the very first time. Poor Jia Qin, she is sitting at the middle, the place where a direct clear path lies between her and a teacher standing at the centre. Sandwiched by me and xianlong. It's hard. But I got an extra seat and table to store my things. (: The view's not so great from here. I have tall, broad shouldered people and attentive people in front of me. People who won't lower their head to take a break so it's time to grow accustom to a stand-squat position to copy notes. Either that, or steal peeps at Jia Qin's ones.

I've got lame jokes (onglai) and 鬼故事 (dimeng) sitting in front of me. Say goodbye to boredom. xP

Going to ryan's house later for homework. The homework's a pseudo. LOL.

happy birthday jerome!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEROME!

Everyone's birthday kinda round the corner and it's getting hard to keep track. Not unless I log in to facebook everyday. Which is sadly becoming a usual practice.

Stop trying to hard. It's stressing and draining you up. Try relaxing and do your best. That's sufficient. There's no need to be superman in everything.

My academics are going downhill. I'm getting dumber day by day and I see everyone growing smarter. Take for example the geography test. I didn't do too well. I'm dead. The three sciences are going to kill me. Argh. And maths. And history too.

Maybe I should have taken literature. But hell, no. You'd probably do worse at lit anyway.

Damn, I'm going to mug on Sunday. No excuses. Physics, bio and history. Sian. I feel listless at the thought of it. But physics isn't too bad if you understand. Maybe it's just Bio.

The bio teacher seems to have singled me out for special unneeded attention. It's creepy. The teacher watching your every movement for SPA and then pins you down. Shag. I better study how that osmosis thing works and everything.

-.- I'm still playing hide-and-seek with homework. I'm hiding. The teachers are seeking.

"Where's that _______?!"

Whatever happened to that guai kia image.

rebels.

Disclaimer: Advisory content best not to be followed.

People shouldn't stereotype rebels. What comes to mind is usually a street punk with a delinquent record. But that's not the case in many situations because everyone's a rebel. Everyone has a wild side. It's just how controlled they are. And how well they are able to hide this facade and live their lives full of the inhibitions.

I'm a rebel.

But held back by the rules and expectations of society and school, it's hard to ever break free completely. All the consequences are too heavy. To be bound to the apron strings of your inner demons and never see what you ever wanted to see, never did what you wanted to do.

So what is it that we're waiting for? Be a rebel today.

Do what you want to do because the youth we have is only limited. But even then, you should have a limit. Enough is enough. At least you managed to do what you wanted to do. Even if it was just for a short while. Stealing pockets of time in the passages of out hectic lives. And we can do anything we want.

Just maintain your sanity and do whatever the school rules and the country's laws permit. Play pranks. Play cards. Play uno stacko. It doesn't matter. Let the soul run far and free.

I was inspired by the Chinese class. But after hearing the news that we would have to write a compo the next day, I didn't feel that inspired anymore.

Only in passing scenes, did the act gave itself away. But for the most part of the time, it was a rather well delivered performance. Stunning acting. I bet it fooled everyone.

Congrats to geography debate team on winning best overall team! You guys did a great job! Then it's back again to my debate homework.

And all the other overdue homework. It's not alot but it isn't that little either.

See what I mean, back to being a rebel.

happy birthday to tabitha and abdul!

Today's total defence day. I heard the siren. I continued slouching on the sofa and watching my cable which is going to be terminated tomorrow.

oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ABDUL AND TABITHA.

Happy 15th to the both of them because that's one of the few rare days that you can ever get to smile brightly and genuinely. And one day later, you are constantly reminded that you're a year older and then you start feeling old. It's like three more years before we become adults.

*Shudders* That sounds old.

Sisters are noisy. Very actually. They reduce weekend sleeping time by two hours per day because after they forced you to wake up, the sun's too glaring for another snooze.

Today was sad. Homework all the way. And I still haven't finished up yet.

English not done. Geography not done. Physics not done. Chemistry not done. But english don't have to hand up tomorrow. Can try to push geog by one day. Physics is just a few pages thick. But the 80% chem test is tomorrow.

Damn, it's so hard to finish all homework. Endless. So general rule is to do as much without feeling like a zombie later. I think I'm going to finish that Chem revision, the physics and half of the geog.

But those are only thoughts.

And yesterday was such a happy day. ;)

Queen of Hearts!

The birthday yield. (:

Another nickname. I'm used to this.

My first birthday card in 8 years or something.

I bombed their pockets. Oh, guilty me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!

Yeah, so happy 15 dude! Stay happy and continue doing what you do best!

And it so happens to be my birthday today too! Yeah, so sing me the song, see the candle gets blown and everyone shall call it a day.

It's been a hell of one wonderful, ecstatic day. Gosh, I feel like a million and one bucks. Highhigh! Must be all that cake. Haha.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for their birthday wishes. In any form, a handshake, a facebook wall quote, a sms or even a shout-out when passing along the corridors. It would be difficult to list down everyone. I'm just lazy. But does that even matter? xP

The presents. They are wonderful. The bunny puppet from ryan. That expensive billabong wallet from choristers and acdc. That blue rose from courteney. That birthday card from siewmun.

Then we, the people in the pic, ryan, gladwin, mingzhen, siewmun and johanna were all having lunch at jack's place. As you can see, I was the one who dragged them there. Yeah, guilty me for dragging them there when we could just have a simple lunch at kopitiam. Times are bad. And I think we're just doing our part as students to help stimulate the economy.

Another great pseudo for the dreaded word otherwise known as spending. Parents don't exactly approve of this. I rushed for debate with omar later and the train ride was enlightening. *sees a ray of mana shine from the clouds*

Late for debate. Very late. 1 hour plus. But they knew about it. They kinda expected it. And it ended one hour after me and omar came. Then came all the thrill and surprise.

Mr Poh treated us to three pizzas, one platter and one birthday cake. Extremely taken aback and surprised here. So sorta just ate the food quietly lo. And it's not just my birthday, it's also because of everyone's dedication in debate. So yay to all debaters! Got cake on my face and got dared. And that made up one of my more bizzare birthday celebrations.

Then I rushed back in the train with stephanie after ryofred left at amk station. Reached ryan's house only to find the rest there with mingzhen gone. Brought gladwin into my house for the first time. Haha, I'm still waiting for what he has to say.

Then we had this 'Queen of Hearts' meeting. All hell broke loose. Confession zone. Spill the beans. You have nothing to hide. More truths than lies. :X It was freaking fun. (:

And after the birthday cake was cut and more photos taken, everyone left at 8 and that concluded, my happiest birthday ever.

Although I don't really know you, but it seems that it's your birthday too. Happy Birthday Dean!

heart connections day!

Never a lack of diabetes-inducing indulgences.

Woots, today's heart connection day which to me, is just another pseudo for the actual day, which is tomorrow!

But today came with its share of disasters as well. First was the news I heard about someone getting expelled, which came to be rather sad since the person was an acquaintance. Canings and warnings. Discipline isn't as slack as it seems.

Second was the chocolate-stained bag. I left the chocolates which Alicia gave inside my bag only to realise that after Chinese, did all the chocolate melted and left a puddle of dark coloured cream which stained some of the things. Gosh, but the chocolates were divine. I mean the melted ones. So although the bag was stained, I got to taste the best chocolates in my life so far. Oh yum!

And today was a day people went around to your tables, gently scatter their sweets and candies on your table, grinned and wished you a happy valentine's day before scooting of to the next table. But I didn't buy any chocolates. So thanks for all the candies but sorry for not getting you any.

The mood was slack. I wasn't particularly into studying today so you could say that I dumped my books. At least for today and most probably tomorrow.

We had full attendance for choir today. (: Like finally. Today is a happy day after all.

To cap it off, playing catching with gladwin was fun. Really fun. I haven't played with so much vigour since.

All events regarding tomorrow will be posted tomorrow. So stay tuned!

happy birthday winnie and yx.

that's my sis, lying on my bed, finishing her homework.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WINNIE! (TODAY)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YONG XIAN! (11th FEB)

Due to the photographed request, I didn't post any of her pics.

I forgot to post yesterday. There was too much geog debate and maths revision to be done. And I managed to finish the maths test. I just didn't know how to do the last question. Crap, I could see my marks fly away this very instant. And I've got another great reason on why people shouldn't label me as English pro or anything related to that. I couldn't spell Caribbean properly. It became Carribean in the map test. LOL. Back to this blog's quote,

You are only in denial.

My hands are itching. I want to type something. Something beautiful, tragic and shocking at the same time. I thought Addiction was a great job. (refer to fictionpress) But I haven't came up with the next chapter yet. Jesslynn's blogpost inspired me to unleash the words within.

He woke up, panting. Staring at the ceiling, he realised the sky's the limit. His breath returned to normal. For all he saw was the sky, white puffy clouds drifting along an azure space. He could feel gentle breezes, caressing his cheeks, and serenity emanating from the surroundings. Beneath him lay whole patches of cool green grass, tickling him into almost releasing sharp cries of mirth. A dove flew past, an olive in its beak. A deep sign of contentment did he heaved. The paradise and all eternal peace. He was home to the heavens where Aristotle and all his Greek friends were.

Just then, a constant throbbing shook the Earth. The bliss and contentment seeped away, for what he saw was a dark tunnel. He could feel a mysterious force guiding him along this path, his feet not of his own command. A voice spoke to him. Come back. And soon, he found himself dozing off.

He woke up a split second later. Jolted from his sleep, his eyes widened in shock. There was only darkness and he feared he was blind. His back was aching from the hard wooden planks beneath him. In desperation, he reached his arms out but found them bound to the confines of hard wooden planks. surrounding him. A sharp realisation struck into him, panic. Trying to escape, he pushed the board in front of him but to no avail. The board would not budge.

It was as if morphine was injected into him, slowly, as numbing effects began to travel through his veins to the rest of the body. The serenity and contentment was coming back now. Slowly but surely. He stopped pushing and rested his arms in a cross across his chest. As seconds trickle by, his breathing go shallower and shallower. Gone was all the need to struggle for what he though meant most to him. This time, he knew that the rest and peace would be eternal. No more sudden shocks and jolts of interruption. He would embrace and take flight in the wings of heaven once more.

bragging rights.

I'd like to spend a night there. xP

I came upon something very interesting during the English free period after school where a heated discussion about the class tee was going on. I think some of the people wanted to put some 3+2 sign conspicuously on the yet-to-be-designed shirt. Then, yours truly felt that it wasn't a right choice. Abdul's pretty thoughtful though. He thinks about the poor girls whose pinafores cover up so much of the back and the front than there are only tiny pockets to insert something significant. So there kicks off the thought of having something significant for the shirt.

"Already some classes were thinking of boycotting us when we tried showing off our subject combination, such as their refusal to applaud and silent stares during our cheer. If we were to do the same thing for the class T-shirt that we will be wearing for a year, won't it be too much?"

My comments got rebutted by Jerome, who, not in these exact words, said that since we chose and have this particular subject combination, we are hence entitled to having these bragging rights or something like that. He has a point though I'm still not fully satisfied. But I find the bragging rights topic a tad interesting and maybe I'll try writing a mini-exposition on it. Right now, because I'll probably be too busy and lazy in the future. That was a paradox. I know. Until next time when I find time to explain the paradox, I would like to go on talking about bragging rights.

Bragging rights, in which my terms, refer to the right that everyone has should he posses a certain ability, post, or connections to talk about it, or in slightly stronger terms, brag about it. It is believed that the reason people brag is because they feel smug or a sense of superiority, when they want to prove that they are better than others. Alternatively, it could also arise from inferior complex that causes these individuals to give off airs just so they could feel slightly better about themselves and that the rest of the world is beneath their feet.

Bragging rights in Singapore remains a low-key and maybe even insignificant part of Singapore and its culture. In a country where freedom of speech is limited to a bench in some unknown neighbourhood park labelled as speaker's corner, bragging rights are hard to be found in any dictionary, encyclopedia but is most accessible perhaps to the bias consensus of negative perspective. What is meant is that majority of Singaporeans do not support bragging rights and even discourage its existence. It is considered detrimental to society and workplace as conceited people are often lazy and complacent and work effiency eventually suffers. The egotism grows in becoming more unbearable to the people surrounding that egoistic person. Thus it is widely believed that bragging rights result in egoistic people who are not as able to work effiently and uphold the moral standard of being humble.

On the flipside however, bragging rights entitle a person to feel better about himself, should he being egoitic or vice versa. It helps a person start a fresh day with self-confidence and conviction that he is a successful person though the otherwise might just be as true. But until the end when the hypocrisy begins to wear off, a person would feel depressed and his self-esteem level takes a sharp drop. Hence, it is also recommened that people exercise their bragging rights at least once a day in order to give them a boost in self-confidence and conviction.

Despite weighing both sides as fair as any drowsy sec 3 student would feel typing out an unnecessary essay, it is difficult to conclude and hence I leave this decision into the hands of the policy makers and class tee designers of 3/1. My stand remains neutral up till it is. I accept whatever decision the jury would make.

Just make it quick. Haha.

confess all the faith that I have in you.

Three Cheers for Fives Years(acoustic) is great and so is Warmness on the Soul by A7X. Mayday Parade sounds better acoustic but that's just an opinion. Avenged sevenfold also sounds better too without all that screaming (refers to dear god) but that again is just another opinion.

I realised that talking to someone or writing a story, or playing some sports, or doing some homework, or using the computer or running helps me to relieve stress and insecurities which will otherwise be bottled up inside. It feels so good letting off this extra baggage.

For the first time in history, the ACDC is going for an overseas trip. The team is not just talking about the strait of water body separating us from Asean countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia but the exotic North, like Bhusan, Korea.

Ohyeah, this trip is becoming an obsession even before the syf is over. Please let us pass through syf with flying colours because that will equate to more subsidy and less regrets.

Choir today was :/. I'm getting used to it though the scolding can be done without. But it's there to push and spur us into reaching for further heights. White horses was enchanting especially with the piano. Hajnali Dal was ok, I'm still not swayed by the depth of the song though my jaws would hurt if I hold too long. And Japanese Game is just another story altogether.

No Mak Inang. It's getting sickening.

And for the geog test today, I think it was quite fun. Not because I will do well, which I don't believe in but because the questions are structured such that you are able to open up that mind and infer some crap out of it. That's fun.

And gladwin got full marks for his maths test, siewmun had the best birthday gift in her life though her birthday's in july and mingzhen was accused of spreading the flu bug to everyone.

feeling down. feeling stretched.

Love me, hate me, but can't you see what I see?

I felt down the whole day today. And this day's probably considered wasted cuz I only managed to finish my chem and phy. Chinese, history, memorise scores and geog test perperation tomorrow.

I wondered whatever happened to anon. He or she must be busy or simply lost interest in my mundane interpretations of my life. Currently refraining from posting any emo speeches and rantings. School's just so....(lets out a big sigh)

It is so difficult to confront all that homework. But it's two down already so get over it. Get over it jinhu, I tell you. Don't wallow in this misery and all that shallow regret. Get to your feet and start running. Slower at the beginning but gaining confidence with every step onto the concrete and finally sprint off to the finish line.

For those who don't know, I've inserted a link to the place where I kept some of my fiction publications. it's better not to click.

If u seek amy is very addictive. But with the passage of time, I think I'm gonna get sick of this song, just like all the other songs that I thought I won't get sick of but still did.

So far, at least 13 sec 3s have said yes to going for the NUS Concert, Now, that's surprising.

Saturday, February 7, 2009

late at night. maybe even morning.

It's Saturday today and I think I'm gonna have a double post. Haha, but that's later. I'm in an extremely crappy mood now but can't help but to act happy since something great happened today.

WE WON THE FIRST ROUND.

Oh yeah, good job to all three contestants, minyi, stephanie and dhurrgah. It was fun watching and a really enriching experience to watch anderson pounce on victoria. I think their third speaker digressed too much and went off topic. Too bad for them, anderson got through the first round.

There was omar and ryofred trying to make the whole world cringe at their jokes. ROFL. Good try. I like listening to lame jokes.

Still, I don't think I've got to explaining the crappy mood. Maybe it was my helplessness. Being part of the team but not doing my proper role. It just makes me feel like this loser who isn't good at anything. No matter how bad moods are, it doesn't justify being rude in front of teachers. So yeah, sorry ms lee.

This good boy role fits me so much. I think I got influenced by them. This shouldn't be the way to follow. It should be the way to lead. Kickass lame.

Forget about all the tests which we had everyday for this week and think of all that homework. I still have chinese to work on. Argh. Chinese.

Thursday, February 5, 2009

the first debacle, tomorrow.

The first debate's coming up tomorrow at 8.30p.m. Gosh, good luck to dhurrgah, minyi and stephanie for the upcoming debate. All girls team lol. It's 'B' division and we're against Victoria.

They had this mini-audition to being first speaker and dhurrgah won so she gets to be the first speaker in which for me, I'm not ready yet. I believe in doing my best when I chose to do that thing in the first place. And since years of stagnation left my skills rusty and unpolished, I'll be glad to take the time to polish it again.

Something courteney told me revisited my memories again. She had a point. There's no need for so many responsibilities if you know you can't cope. Right now, I'm returning to my comfort zone. Concentrating on my chinese and other aspects of life that might not necessarily be academic-linked.

And to ms lee's question on why I returned to debate, I just realised that I wanted to give myself another chance on something that I had interest in. Simple as that.

Right now, I want to concentrate on finishing the vocab exercise which I forgot to do. Sharks! I don't even know how many we must complete....sian!

i don't want to disappoint.

I don't want to disappoint. To see anyone swallow down the bitter taste of disappointment if I ever walked out of them.

I won't want to ditch the friends if I ever had the choice. But we don't really have a choice sometimes when situations get out of control. I have no idea why I get so contemplative all of a sudden. I think it's the environment. Studying much more than I did in the holidays. One month isn't sufficient for me to adjust.

So I guess I didn't do too badly for the Comprehension Test. Maybe some flaws here and some errors there but the whole thing was still able to hold up, I hope. Then came debate which was fun. Third speakers on the opposition side never got much to prepare. But I did. Haha, thanks to Jon who wanted to give a better run for the proposition's money. Then ryofred asked me if I want to learn scribing from him. And I said why not since it's fun to learn something new.

Then I had this really enjoyable chat with audrey in her class after debate and it's rather enlightening to hear what she said. I have this admiration for lit students. They are daring and deep.

Haha, gladwin, this refers to you too. (:

Watching the new sec1s from outside the student activity hub proved to be a bad idea. We got shooed out by mrs sin, ms yep and some other sec3s. LOL. As if it was a crime to watch something that wasn't top secret. Waiting to get scolded.

Which happens to be one of my phobia. It's just the reprimand, the reproach and the scolding. But they come down harshly, like a leather whip. And there's nothing I can say about it because the guilty one is me, being prosecuted.

I welcome constructive criticsm. But if you just want to suan me, go ahead too. I'm perefectly fine with it. And I'm tired of the you're-so-pro-in-english comments. You won't call anyone who failed comprehension last year pro-in-english don't you? But for those who mean my writing, even though it's not that wonderful, I accept your gracious compliment. Thank You.

tested everyday

It's freaky. I just realised that in addition to the afternoon lessons which are draining alot of that spare time, there's a test everyday for this week.

It's only CA1, spare us. There was SS test yesterday, KPT test today, Comprehension test tomorrow, E Maths test on thursday and Chemistry practical test on friday.

It's still Chinese New Year. I don't get why the school is trying to bombard us with all these. But I still can cope. That is, without studying for the test. Goodbye KPT. -.-

Siansian. I think I'm gonna bomb that Compre test as well. Trying my best isn't going to scrape me a wonderful grade. Still, I'll put in effort. No underlines this term I hope.

The world's still revolving. The people are in motion. Yet, everything's in a blur. They are zooming past too swiftly, a flurry of activity. In the background, I heard a faltering voice. Slow down, we're going too fast. Never before had someone stopped for a moment to think about all this haste and hurry. It altered all our lifestyles since then.

I'm thinking of writing a atory with its original title in Bamboo Tales, Slow down, we're moving too fast. That's because the title sounds very appealing. Won't start this week though. I'm still looking for my homework....

I'm sorry I pangseh you guys, you could say I went off to reconnect.

the mom song.

Please laugh. Well, I don't really have to ask. Just watch it for yourself!

happy birthday bj!

I SWEAR THAT I WILL BRING MY SCORES TO CHOIR OR ELSE I WILL BE PUNISHED WITH 5 HOURS OF CHINESE SELF-STUDY!

This is so ridiculous. And was sadly suanned for that. Jokes only lah. I lost my dal score then had to photocopy another one. So thanks mingzhen. I'll try to stop suanning you. :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PANG BIAO JIN!

我在这次的华文测验得了19.5/35!

That made my day. I passed all the chinese tests so far. Start gasping please. You're hearing this news from this person who got 3rd from the bottom for higher chinese in his class last year.

C'mon, I'm just joking. But I was really happy that I passed.

So I'm giving myself an off day today. All homework will be pushed to tomorrow. And we had an SS test today. I did what I could. So no regrets. But I don't really have a desire to get back the results. A premonition struck me.

A clear mind sure is useful. And so is a clear file. Right now, I'm feeling a little blur and my papers are still chucked into the bag. I think I'll do them tomorrow. I have a feeling that I won't.

Procrastination is the thief of time.

my life would suck without you

Everyone's talking about kelly clarkson's new hitsong "My Life Would Suck Without You".

I find it nice. Her old songs, especially in Breakaway were a few of my favourites. She's a true worthy winner of the first season of American Idol.

I'm supposed to do debate homework now. But it's so taxing. All the rebuttals that I've got to do. But on the extremely bright side, I finished ALL my homework! But still got tests to study for. Grr.

Next week is going to be freaking busy. What is wrong with the education system? Nothing actually. I just don't like the fact that there's so much information that must be digested when you'll only be using a small fraction of that in your entire working life.

So wasted. But there's nothing we, the students can do about it. Not unless we form a one million strong petition. And that is just like, according to audrey, building a golden stairway to a jungle in Singapore. Impossible.
