a new address. a new beginning.
Tuesday, June 22, 2010
hey you, stop right there.
Random and sleep-deprived. I've not started with ss revision. Probably starting at 10.
The scenario always repeats itself. I'm sick of it but I can't help but run away every time I see someone I don't really wanna see, or try to avoid by turning my head to the other direction to try to enjoy some non-existent wonderful scenery. Either that or I make a really huge detour within sighting.
It may be human nature. But even normal people don't do it that deliberately.
People have been asking me about DSA. They think I'm like an ideal candidate for it and I can't blame them for their superficial views. I didn't qualify last time but I've got the credentials now to try.
But I'm not going to do so. Choosing not to. Taking a leap of faith. I'm not sure if my results can secure a good place but I'm sure of one thing.
I want to try.

DIGIMON DATA SQUAD! (L)
Yeah, I'm like this digimon freak who's still head over heels an anime that only people half my age should be watching. But too bad, yours truly is still really young at heart. Talk about climbing through the new playground at woodlands waterfront and challenging his sister across that labyrinth of ropes and wires.
Hope you guys like that advertisment. EPIC.

won't change won't you?
(L)
Literally.
Finished all english, chem and bio! Mwahahahaha! But I'm stuck with truckloads of physics and a mountain of untouched geog. :O
Don't start on maths. It was there and will be there. I don't get the feeling of accomplishment after each maths assignment, not when I realised that half of them were left blank. You can't consider it to be finished right?
Treating my sisters to karate kid. Yeah, awesome elder brother here.
Actually, no. I just haven't stood out of the house to go anywhere fun for the past three weeks
And not planning to subsequently. It's a lonely holidays. This ain't a lament, a pity nor regret.
Ok I'm bored. So I'll just share a very interesting fact with you guys. You'll never see me in a relationship in secondary school. And unlike the rest of all the other guys, I'm not curious about what that feeling is like.
Because I already knew, a long time ago.
Hearing of the serious flooding in orchard. I can't say I like global warming and this climate change. But I do enjoy one thing, staying at home and watching it rain.
Change. Ambivalence. I like that there are always new and interesting thing that happen in our lives. But I don't like how some people change, and they don't become the friends you know anymore.
The rest is history.

because this time, i won't let you slip away.
It's a glossy black, fingerprint-magnet Toshiba which according to my unseasoned computer eyes, is a dang high-tech machine. Specs include a web cam, intel i5, windows 7 and blah blah. It's gonna be the first time I use a webcam.
Come on, don't look at me with that stunned expression of yours.
Because if I was anymore IT savvy, I won't be finding myself waiting for an hour outside harvery norman, with no book to read, no one to message, no games to play, hogging that tiny space in front of the laptop and getting scoffed at by passers-by for such a behaviour. All because I didn't know how to recover factory settings for the laptop. -.-
And we got a jet too! But it's not gonna be mine because my kind spirit of consideration triumphed over my greed for materialistic goods. Awww. How shameless.
I won't write depressing thoughts here, as promised.
Can I try talking to you again? And this time and for the other times in the future, we'll chat like we used to, with fervour and happiness.
Homework situation is dire even after self-imprisonment. :O
If there must be something I must accomplish during the June Hols, then it'll be joining in the league of nice elder brothers and for starters, I'm gonna treat my youngest sister to a karate kid movie.
Find. a. goal.

a tribute to grandma's fried chicken wings.
I waited longingly by the wok, watching you develop a golden brown tan. You were sizzling in medium-grade cooking oil, and basking under the glow of fluorescent kitchen lights. Hot.
My grandma was your master alright, and like any good master, she pushed her disciples to their limits as I watch you and your sisters get tossed around unflinchingly with every twist of her spatula. Yet you never complained and endured the pain of having boiling oil seep through every pore of your raw body. Maybe there was the occasional crack and in your unintentional protest, you would splash a few drops of boiling oil out of the wok.
I understand your pain my dear but it is a pain inevitable ever since you were sealed in a frozen packet a few hundred kilometers away. So was being loaded and unloaded several times and having your flawless skin so cruelly caressed by the rough hands of those burly male loaders.
It has been hard on you my dear but soon you will have redemption. Because at that very moment my grandma forged that coat of crispy golden brown on you, I know your redemption has come. With a drop of sweat rolling across her brow, grandma scooped you up with ease and laid you and your sisters on a green dinner plate for your beauty to manifest before my very eyes.
Not just sight but smell too. Your aroma was not just alluring; that would have been an understatement, it was a knockout I'm more than happy to have; even if it means falling flat on a greasy kitchen floor.
And in sound, you scream 'Want me' and I'm just too ready to comply. But sorry dear I won't wanna touch you. Not now when you're this hot. It's a compliment.
But 'taste me?' You gotta be kidding my dear, what have I done to deserve this? You leave me wallowing in a self-esteem crisis, as I struggle about my worth to even drool at you.
Tantalizing bitch.
Just then my sister bellowed at the family to gather for dinner but what she didn't know was that I was already waiting, with my plate of fluffy white rice and an array of other dishes surrounding me. But they can't compare to you.
The greetings over the dining table dragged for what seemed a very long time. Yet as impatient as I was, I knew that with every second passed, my unworthy desire for you would increase exponentially. A desire which I could no longer contain within my mortal self when the dining bell finally clamored.
Forks and spoons were tools that get in the way. I reached for you with such belligerence that my elders scowled disapprovingly at my dismal table manners. But for you, it was worth it.
Your texture might be described as coarse but to my discerning touch, your 'coarseness' was simply more of crystalline. You weren't as hot now as you were then and I could now touch you without scalding myself. I know better; you pitied me and had to lower your stature and temperature so much that it almost bridged the chasm between you and me.
(Disclaimer: Viewer's discretion advised on mature themes in subsequent content)
And I shall now perform my duty to you as a lover, even if it is my wishful thinking. For my lust for you is overwhelming me and as much as I wish to slowly take in your charming scents, I find myself nuzzling across your skin, my saliva smearing all over you.
At last, the moment has come and I sunk my fangs into you. The people who claimed that food was as much pleasurable as sex was damn right, for my orgasmic screams which lasted for a good many seconds stunned everyone around me. Pure bliss and heaven. I couldn't differentiate between the two.
It was a very euphoric moment brought about by an influx of endorphins. I could feel every single nerve dancing, each causing a spasmodic contraction which left me intoxicated in this revelry.
This went on as I continued ripping crispy skin and off you, my teeth snapping in joy and my salivary glands bloomed as warm oil ooze into them. Literally. Saliva was erupting in geysers and I was helpless to this involuntary action. Instead, I surrendered myself to the climaxes of these physical and worldly joys.
But gradually, the elation ebbed away and I start to feel the ground again before landing on a very heavy thud as my tongue revealed a very bare bone with ends very thoroughly chewed. I'm sorry my love that I'm the end of you but I do hope that you as much fun as me in this consummation, my consumption.
I pray that you will forgive me as this heartless lover who ditched his partner in a paper box after he had what he seeked.
Amen.

see, too much energy.
Even if it means bother, irritate or annoy, at least it's something. Something compared to being all passive and quiet. You're made of sterner stuff that people don't know yet. :P
See what I mean, too much energy.
And congrats to the CHAOS team for getting into the finals! Yeah, that means jerome, willy, anees and chin.
See, at least you're doing something, even if it's the very minimum of typing a few friends' names for a limited audience to view.
what the hell is your problem?
Really, can't you wake up and see that life is more than a series of comparisons.
Sure, you get compared a lot yourself too but still.
And all this wallowing in self-pity when your life isn't half bad. If only you'd constantly channel that energy into doing something constructive, maybe it'd be better without you thinking about it.
Staying at home is gettin' me a lil' cranky, especially when I start reprimanding myself online. Maybe it's too much pent up energy. I've got to do something, like run. And that's what I did but I'm still restless with energy to spare.
So tomorrow, I'll run and maybe swim. No, staying at home does not give me any inspiration to do any homework but we haven't got a choice haven't we? Laboured through some chem before watching 'The day after tomorrow'.
Hey world, I hope I didn't bother you.
Why don't you try 'bothering'? Maybe it'll make a difference.

livin' in a dream. not a dream.
There's a difference. Right now, I feel as if homework's a figment of imagination and the mess on my table can vapourize if I stare at it hard enough. It's this obsession again. Once I start I can't stop and it wasn't until 6.30p.m. in the evening that I could put down Paths of Glory be Jeffrey Archer.
It ain't one of my favourite books but it was interesting to explore the settings of the early 20th century from the eyes of an aspiring mountaineer hoping to be the first man to reach the summit of Chomolungma.
This is a requisite for me attain my goal. Well, reading in general is, and that's why I was in favour during a family conference of the decision to subscribe a year's copy of Time magazine and reader's digest.
Well, for a change, I'm not going to be so dormant, or stay content with a quiescent mind. www.dictionary.com is going to help me improve my english.
Jolted from my seat during the english course today. Maybe it was the sudden realisation that my english has been slipping and I really have to do something about it. That along with the eight other subjects.
I love avril's costume in her Alice MV but her singing seems to have taken a slide. What can you say when all you hear are screams?
Eenie Meenie is quite catchy really. Though I can't come to terms with the fact that Justin Bieber sang it, I could still groove along to it. Easy really, just make yourself believe that it was some girl singing.
Avril, when are you going to release your new album. It has been three years.

of random photos and privacy.
That's my youngest sister with a red panda mascot.
If anyone wants to jio her, you have to get past me first. I know she's pretty, everyone says so.
Maybe it's just our bloodline. JKJK.
Seriously, what's with the world and the lack of privacy? Why are people so damn open nowadays? I wonder what happen to the long gone days of respecting privacy where people actually like to keep things private. Maybe it still exists. I still see people deleting certain messages before lending me their phones, or keying in 8-digit passcodes for access to their music files. Either that or they're just paranoid and don't trust me with their phones. I'd like to think that it was the former.
I've been thinking but I'm not really sure. Is there a conflict of interest in privacy and trust or are the both complementary?
Perhaps someone good in philosophy would answer this.
So if anyone replied, it would mean that the person has the notion and the belief that they're truly good in philosophy. But whether the person really is good remains to be seen.
Disclaimer: These are just some casual thoughts cooked up from a restless mind trapped in the lull of quiet Sunday afternoons.
Nothing more, don't bother inferring.

saturday afternoon lessons.
If what he said was right; that cheem words and varied sentence structure can excite the O level marker, then I have one goal in mind.
I want the O level marker to experience an orgasm while reading my compo.
And yes, that's the goal I'm working towards.

Farewell, Anderson Choir.
Gosh, it has been one hell of a party. It mattered not the actual sequence of events or the food. Because I have only fond memories of playing and having fun. :D
Just like how a charade of me became that of someone scolding and scowling at the choir. :P True maybe but the parody was somewhat mocking. Yet ultimately comical. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
And I had company the whole time. Be it adelynn and yewrong whom I strolled with around the familiar confines of Northoaks condominium or being thrown balloons by the guys. Or having various bodily parts lasered at. :O Speaking of which, I'm fond of the laser. Gosh, that's one powerful laser.
You have a popsicle. I have a magnum.
*chuckles*
Then there was handover. Finally passed down the reins to bryan. Gave him a card and a personalised mug. It was celebrated with a handshake, hug and photo session.
I'm not one for mundane details but I'd like to frame this moment in my life for a long time. Accomplished and full of pride. That's how it was like. A tableau I'd really won't wanna forget.
Thanks for the piglet bryan though I don't really know it's significance. You were trying to convey it to me but the cheers were too loud, I couldn't hear. :P
Thanks for the tiny teddy bear yuxiang! It was kinda unexpected but really much appreciated. :D
And thanks for the tiny card of heartfelt words from jesslynn! It is a lot coming from you. :)
I got a keychain puzzle as my angel and mortal gift. Thanks winnie but I doubt I'll be playing it soon. And aruna got my kinder bueno! She finds it a coincidence that we were in the same group for Italy, the party games and I eventually ended up as her angel.
Who knows? :P
I can't describe this feeling in mere words. It's around the lines of weary and awesome, with the whip of euphoria.
Maybe when I'm more clear-headed and have no lessons on a saturday morning, I'll be able to describe this better.
But for now I'm bushed and as a comfort tonight,
I know I'll have sweet dreams.
Thank you and farewell, love.

so i'm being a criminal, convict me!
Farewell party is tomorrow. I've gotten a gift.
Yet I've got apprehension about enjoying myself.
***
I love naps. But I hope that does not entail my sister turning on the fluorescent bright lights and pulling my blanket and shrieking next to my ear. Gosh, little sisters. They can't wait just because I was skippin' a little dinner. >)
RUN DEVIL RUN.

playing with sand. *
We can curse and etch the words with force and grief. But no matter how deep the words are, they will always be erased by the winds of time.
***
This feels like a really good idea to work on. Maybe if I'm free I'll work on this idea and you readers might get a full-blown story.
***
The appearance might have changed but the crux remains the same. You can't deceive yourself; how you seem to walk around in circles and always end up where you were, never progressing. Never going forward. Just stuck.
You try to break free from this vicious cycle; be it dressing a little wilder, talking with more sarcasm or just trying out new experiences.
I'm sorry to say that you'll just be in denial. The problem that was there will be there.
***
They say that the ones that have truly lost everything are the most dangerous. Just think about what you can do if you already have nothing to lose. You can't sink deeper in the abyss because you have already reached its limit. And it's precisely because of this, you are granted infinite freedom. With the only constraints being your body and passing phase of time, your mind dwelves into the seemingly unthinkable and you epitomise an idea. An idea though awe-striking but equally terrifying. You are IMPOSSIBLE.
I feel good writing these. And I tempt myself with forsaking inhibitations socially because I can't help but feel that I'm already at the bottom of my abyss in certain aspects.
I can choose to do something crazy. But coupled with yours truly conservative ideals, this might seem only a little out of the norm.
Whatever.
